Bashbots you did it! You surpassed the show you were copied from! This is undoubtedly a better fight night format than Battlebots had. No cupcake wins where top finishers whooped no hopers, everyone fought someone on their own wins-losses level, you did a spectacular job. Fantastic fights, excellent editing, great work everybody!

I do appreciate that to a degree, but the perfect scores fighting 'no-hopers' did give the little guys a chance for serious attention grabbing by beating a big name. Pros and cons to both sides, and that's why BattleBots and BashBots aren't the same show.

As for seed predictions: (MAJOR SPOILERS BELOW!!!) 1. Mars: The reigning champions, and have looked darn near unstoppable this time around as well. 10 wins in a row is not something to scoff at. 2. Polis: The series 2 champions, and also have looked incredible. 4-0, and the closest they came to losing was a split decision to Atlas. 3. Wishbone: A rookie bot, but the builder goes as far back as the first ever Bashbots fight with Migronic. It's eggbeater has dominated everyone in its path. 4. Atlas: Was completely dominant in the fights it was in, plus was 3rd place last series. It's yet to have a decisive loss, the fight with Cosmo and Polis were both incredibly close. 5. Sparks: The season 1 champions, placed 4th last year, and has caused 'permanent' damage to multiple opponents. Plus a similar bot, Rotator from Battlebots, is often claimed as the best horizontal spinner of the modern era. 6. Amethyst: Another horizontal spinner, that absolutely destroyed El Montacargas and Wishbone. Also was a dominant force in the first two series, and builder was number 2 seed in series 3. 7. Tranquilizer: Speaking of high seedings, last series' number 1 seed Tranquilizer has brutally devastated Waaghboss and many of the Pre-Qualifier bots. 8. Gumdrops: With KOs against Tranquilizer, Ryu Kishin, and Dynamite, Gumdrops and Evil Toaster have made a name for themselves. Their only loss was a JD to Mars, so... 9. Panther: Nearly beating Sparks in both seasons 2 and 4, this is certainly a great bot. Twin verts could be the next big thing in robot combat! 10. Ryu Kishin: Thyrus's front hinged lifter, the first control bot in quite some time on this list, was excellent in the last two seasons. While it has primarily won on JD's, it's made it there 4 times out of 6 fights which speaks to the durability of this robot. 11. Catch: Another Front-hinged flipper, Catch has come out of nowhere this season, dominating robots like Cyberstorm and Tenderlove in order to reach 3-1. 12. HUGE: Jonathan Shultz and his Battlebots icon has proven to be a force in every single competition it's been in. 30 pounds, 250 pounds, virtual so 0 pounds, he doesn't care. 13. Calcifer: While not dominant in its rumble and fights, the grappler of Calcifer have had good wins against decent opponents. 14. Tenderlove: Really never decisively loses, always destined to go down in a blaze of glory. Or controversial JD. 15. Claymore: Only losing to Mars and Calcifer, and being a dominant force last season, Claymore is just waiting to get the perfect tournament run. 16. Cosmo: Runner up last series, Cosmo is one of the greatest verts in the field. Unfortunately, it's taken some massive damage after the Huge fight, and is needing a lot to recover. Edit: This would mean these for fights. Mars vs Cosmo (rematch of last year's finals) Polis vs Claymore Wishbone vs Tenderlove Atlas vs Calcifer Sparks vs HUGE Amethyst vs Catch V4 Tranquilizer vs Ryu Kishin Gumdrops vs Panther

Maybe slight spoilers, these are seed predictions with the events of this episode in mind. Mars most likely gets top seed. Previous series champ and 4-0 record with 3 ootas, it's an easy choice. Polis likely takes second seed for similar reasons minus recency bias. Wishbone is probably the weakest of the 4-0 records, it's most notable wins being extremely close jd's. Likely seed 4 or 5, with amethyst taking seed 3. For the 2-2 bots, claymore has probably the biggest loss being to calcifer, and I don't remember any big wins so it's most likely going seed 16. Not sure who gets seed 14 or 15 between Cosmo and Tenderlove, but if the rest of my predictions are right then we for sure have a rematch between Tenderlove and either amethyst or polis, which should be fun.

I would give amethyst 5th seed personally just behind Sparks. I agree with Mars, Polis but Wishbones probably 3rd seed. And my 14th seed is Cosmo. 15th seed I would probably say Tenderlove and that leaves Claymore

Before the episode began, when TheDominusIgnis went through what went wrong with Cosmo saying all the motors and batteries cost absolutely nothing reminded me of how much the Young Offenders' outfits cost.

So, here's my predictions for the seeds. I rewatched the entire season and ranked each robot based on two factors - how they won first and the quality of robots they fought second. So, with that all in mind.... 1. Mars. The only 4-0 robot to get three KOs. Also, it being the defending champion means getting the 1st seed just feels right. 2. Polis. It only got two KOs, but it did still manage to beat two very strong robots. 3. Wishbone. Gets this slot by default as not one of its battles ended in a knockout. 4. Amethyst. Three vicious KOs. Also, this might just be me, but I consider losing a split decision to be far better than losing a unanimous decision, since that suggests that Amethyst could still have beaten Wishbone. Besides, it deserves a high seed anyway. 5. Gumdrops. Three KOs, one of them being Tranquilizer, carries it in good stead. 6. Catch V4. To be honest, the only reason I ranked this fellow 3KO bot below Gumdrops was just because I think Gumdrops put up a slightly better fight against Mars than Catch did against Atlas. 7. Atlas. Speaking of, the only reason Atlas got ranked under a robot it defeated is simply due to its lack of KOs. 8. HUGE. And the only reason HUGE is ranked below Atlas is because losing a SD to Rampage is nowhere near as good as losing a SD to Polis. 9. Ryu-Kishin. The only 3-1 robot left with a KO to its name. Its SD win over Thunderwave and KO loss to Gumdrops hurt it here (UD win is better than SD win in my books). 10. Tranquilizer. It's actually done pretty poorly. with no knockout wins and even its victories weren't super solid. Still probably performed better than anyone else. 11. Calcifer. Whilst it performed well, I rank it below Tranquilizer due to opponent quality. 12. Sparks. No knockouts from Sparks is very surprising. It only had two UD wins and one SD wins. 13. Panther. Same deal. But because it lost to Sparks, it makes sense. 14. Cosmo. It KOed two robots and nearly defeated Siren, so it's the best of the 2-2 group. 15. Claymore. Honestly, the only reason it ranked below Cosmo is because of its UD loss to Calcifer, which I consider "worse" than Cosmo's SD loss to Siren. 16. Tenderlove. Purely on the back of no KOs.

So, lets set the scene here.... Amethyst, Gumdrops, Mars, Polis, Sparks and Wishbone are all fighting for the top three seeds. At this stage, they've all basically qualified (unless something stupid happens), alongside Catch V4 and HUGE. Meanwhile, we have Atlas, Calcifer, Claymore, E.T.A., Goldeneye, Loki, Panther, Ryu-Kishin, Siren and Tranquilizer all stuck on 2-1 and in a precarious position. Win, and they're safely in. Lose, and they, alongside Cosmo and Tenderlove, are left in the hands of the selection committee. By my calculations, assuming that all robots 4-0 or 3-1 DO make it in (and they should), that leaves only three spots for a 2-2 robot to sneak in (or maybe four spots if there's some more rumbles). Given the general quality of robots this year, it's going to be extremely tight.

More potential Spoilers Because I was Bored Mars Vs Claymore = Mars Polis vs Tenderlove = Polis Wishbone vs Cosmo = Cosmo Sparks vs Calcifer = Sparks Amethyst vs Gumdrop= Amethyst. Feel a little bit id sadness in the sense that I see a lot of potential with Gumdrop especially after defeating Tranquilizer. But I also see this is an unlikely match up for them. Huge vs Ryu = Huge Panther vs Catch = Panther. Not super sure though tbh Atlas vs Tranquilizer = Tranquilizer. Only like 51% sure though lol Mars vs Tranquilizer= Mars Polis vs Panther = Polis Huge vs Cosmo = Huge. Bet it be a great rematch though Sparks vs Amethyst = Amethyst. This can literally go anyway with the way I see it but I kinda like to see Amethyst win this it would be unexpected. Mars vs Amethyst= Mars Polis vs Huge = Polis. Not very sure about it though. Mars vs Polis = Polis. Considering the skill both have it may really just depend on who has the lower flipper. If it's Mars then Mars will probably win. I don't know who does but I would be excited to see the great Croga get the W again like season 2 Kinda feel like that match would be kinda poetic though however wins this is not only the king of the Flippers but king of all the bots throughout Bashbots history

I can kind of see that. I do agree he won this one but not big time. If we still had the damage being counted maybe though. However Mars had plenty of Flips more than Gumdrops strikes crushed it in control. Aggression maybe debatable. However this is just my point of you and I am not one of those judges better their words than my words. And as far as I know you may as well know better than me too.

But you're right, we are just observers. How can we make Mars lose? Enter next season and defeat it. ...yeah, I can't do that either.

@@madcinder257 the reason why I would imagine Mars has gotten this far would be because of not necessarily a good machine with a lot to show more hard work and effort. Which seems to have gotten the edge for them for all their near losses and split decisions
