I have a Epson xp1500 with chipless tanks and software. Then I installed cad link. First it wouldn’t print until I did several head cleanings every day now it is printing yellow where red should be and light yellow where white should be. No white backing the hole thing….any ideas on what I did wrong?

Color order is not set to match the actual ink carts, are you using the the basic xp15000 or the v2 xp15000 in cadlink?

My printer is not printing the white back layer? Do i set my ink order with white in the last 2 blocks even if my white ink is not in those tanks? My white ink is in the middle? But the ink order is just the order it prints out correct?

when you print a nozzle check does the white show up? Is the RIP set on underbase white and what is your white percentage?

No it doesn't. I just figured out my mom never set the white up. So I did that and I think damper might be damaged so I ordered another one. Was just trying to make sure I'm doing stuff right. So when you rip that's telling it to print the white layer?

@@crystalgrey9655 exactly, the RIP does alot more than just that but you will be controlling your white and how much you use via the RIP

Would you accept payment to set up a video call to help troubleshoot some of our issues with epson 8550 running cadlink? We are having smearing and the printer only printing one half of the image

Honestly we recommend not using that printer for DTF, it is doable but they do not work very well without significant modification. If its smearing try a paper towel cleaning. When you say it only prints half an image do you mean the printer quits and only print the first half of an image? that would be a RIP issue

Top menu Queue 1st option When you see your printer, port will day file, click on file and select your printer on the list

Obvious stuff, printer cable is plugged, download OEM Epson printer driver, make sure printer is connected to computer If the printer is working with the computer but not with cadlink ***on the top let area of the menu click, Queue in the drop down menu click, Manage Queues your printer should appear in the list there next to your printer queue name, make sure the printer is selected under printer, click the drop down under "port" make sure that selection matches your printer listed in your computers printer list
