I have written a book "Chinese ABC" for beginner students! If you are just starting out definitely check it out! www.amazon.com...
Animated cartoon to help you memorize, once and for life, a few basic character parts, which many people confuse!
Remembering Chinese Characters is quick and easy if you know the parts of the character. Whether you are a beginner, an intermediate or an advanced student, you'll find many radicals are similar to each other. How to differentiate between them? You can watch my cartoon series that aims to do just that. For other characters check out the following free resources www.wordbuddy.com/ www.yellowbridg... where you can see character parts along with translations. Whatever you do, don't read on as it will be for youtube algorythms so my vid shows up in search. I therefore mention Cantonese and Japanese, and Beijing and Guangdong and even Shanxi and Chinese calligraphy for beginners, aka free lessons classes and learning Asian culture. Is there an alphabet in Mandain? China, simplified. How do you write Chinese characters, what is the meaning of 214 Kangxi radicals and Kanji in China, all while history of writing. And learning Chinese by yourself, super easy lesson Chinese for starters, while also advanced Mandarin strokes order, not to mention Mandarin Characters, pinyin or zhuyin. Enjoy your day, I love you all.
If it was useful, Subscribe.

I'm Chinese and I'm laughing so hard about this. Great work, you made it so intuitive. However, I‘ve never seen 夂(zhi3) and 攵(pu1) used independently; I didn't even know they have pronunciation and meaning. BTW, here is the pronunciation of all the radicals and characters: 夂,zhi3 攵,pu1 夕,xi1 歹,dai3 行,xing2 多,duo1 客,ke4 政,zheng4 死,si3 街,jie1

Zhou Charly Define 'Chinese'/'we'? Are you from mainland China? If so, what specific area/region/prefecture? I lived in Taiwan for years, and these are used as characters *and* radicals there. I worked in Beijing China briefly, but am not sure if anything was different.

Hi Devin, good question. For more than 60 years‘s isolation between mainland China and TW, there shall be some difference, Traditional and simplified Chinese also different, both in write and speak, I am not specialist, so may have some mistakes , but glad to talk about Chinese languages each other.

In nowdays,"走"means "walk" , "行"also means "walk" ,so you can use both together as "行走",and "跑" means "run" . In ancient China, "走" means "run" , "行"means "walk" and "趨"means "walk fast". 趨 can use in nowdays too , but rarely.

@@roghiyeh135 First, learn the four tones. Secondly, learn Chinese characters and words one by one. Finally learn ancient Chinese. Normally, it takes 3 years to be able to communicate simply and 6 years to be able to write simply. If you want to be proficient, you need at least 9 years of hard work. As a Chinese, I have studied for 9 years, but I haven't learned well. Chinese culture is very open and the Chinese people are very kind, but Chinese language and Chinese characters are as difficult to understand as fossils, and as difficult to climb as high walls.

Walk and Hit are important character forming constituents but seldom almost never used in real life as independent character by themselves. I need to look up dictionary to get these pronunciations right. Sunset pronounces as /xi(4)/ A lot pronounces as /duo(1)/ Footprint (or rather, walk, go... ) pronounces as /xing(2)/ Death pronounces as /si(3)/ Politics pronounces as /zheng(4)/ Street pronounces as /jie(1)/

Since there was high illiteracy rate at the early stage of China , Chinese words were simplified to help the illiterates. The simplified character don't have the related meaning of the words. The original meaning of 会 is not a person can ride a cloud. The traditional character is 會. But I think you can still use this method to memorise a Chinese words.
@xXJ4FARGAMERXx
@xXJ4FARGAMERXx 3 жыл бұрын
I saw 云 and i laughed, the traditional character is 雲, 雨 means rain, and 云 is just the phonetic part that tells you "hey, this is pronounced almost like yun" (it doesn't tell you which tone it is though) But seeing just a yun floating around acting as if it were a cloud was odd

If u only need to communicate with people, then Chinese grammar for communication is actually super easy compared to the other languages. People can understand u even if u put the words in wrong orders and we usually speak like that in our daily life too. Grammar is not important when we speak it. But for the level of being professional in Chinese, the grammar becomes difficult cuz the mistakes of it are too difficult to find out…most of the native speakers can't even figure out… so don't give up learning because of the characters😄

Thank you very much for your wonderful words! And thank you for a bit background of yourself. Oh I can't believe it! Wow! You ate from Us and heritage Austrian and your grandmother spoke Chinese fluently?wow so many languageses are now in your life!! I feel it's more than just to learn another language. For me it's like feeling and going into another world. I love to feel the culture. So I love Chinese music modern and traditiona I love Chinese film s there are so talented! When they play a role in a romantic film than in their eyes are really love. If they are afraid of Damon in a film in there eyes are fear! I prefer to watch it in Chinese all taught I don't understand many words. But I understand it anyway because I feel it and see it. I also live that Chinese people often have the knowing to bring old and new things together. For example in the music. They mix Zen Musik with new age Musik. Or classic with rock music but at most I love their romantic songs 😍and I love their ideas. I love to watch them making their work we can learn a lot about them! When you watching in the country the people making their work its specialy. They take the time. Step by step all thoughts, all, Energie, all acting is just for the now! For this work. To make it in the best perfekt way what is possible. It doesn't matter what kind of job its important to them. I saw in a documentary a fishing man he made me cry because it touched me very deeply. He was in the now. For him it was a fish not just a fish. And fishing not just fishing he want to make it in the perfect way! Oh I wrode to much!😂😂 you can see I love to talk about it! I could tell you many stories I learned from them. I know there a things in China I don't like same of their politics. But every country have their problems and the people are not the politicians.
