How do you "adjust as you go"?

This is something I'm realizing that I need to start doing a better job explaining during my tutorials! I'm adjusting almost every layer I paint, it's how I know what colors to use. But looking at the vinyl and seeing what color it is and what color I need to use to get it where I want. For instance with yellow kits, I do a ton of different purple based colors, which neutralizes yellow. So while they may be a ton of mottles to build skin tone, they are also neutralizing at the same time. It's something that comes naturally with time and experience, but I will be focusing on it a lot more on my next series!

@@ebornsreborns is there any such thing as too many layers in vinyl AND silicone?

@redroisin1 I can't say for silicone, but on vinyl as long as they are really thin you can do a lot, I've done over 100 layers many many times with no issues. It becomes a problem if you're using air dry paint w/ mediums, which can give it a thick look or cause peeling

@@ebornsreborns even with air dry paints as long as the paint is thin layers stay put no matter how much is used...but then I'm only talking about Ultimate Fusion air dry paints... thanks for this though
