So you left monotheism (islam) to join a polytheistic trinitarian religion that nobody can comprehend? How smart is that? Plus christianity worships jesus now as their god when jesus used to eat food and drink and pray and cry but a true God does has none of these needs. Jesus is not God he's a great prophet and there is no God except the Creator Allah. Repent and go back to islam. That would be your best bet.

@@BenjaminQ23 not logical since if he was both man and God we would have seen him pray to himself (the God part of him) but no he prayed to the creator in the heavens so that completely rules out your proposition. If he was only God, then he wouldnt need to pray at all since a god doesnt need to pray to anyone hence the remaining option is that he was 100% human and a prophet of God as we muslims believe.

@@mkraad Well it wouldn't make sense if Jesus was "only" God. But Jesus wasn't only God he had two nature's. his Humanity and his divinity. In his Humanity, it wouldn't be odd to pray to God the Father who was in heaven because that's what we do. Jesus also used prayer as an example to his followers. I don't think Jesus praying disproves he was God in human flesh. It just reaffirms the second nature of Jesus..

I don't know where to begin, I am a Muslim, and I have great respect to Frank, however, at least 50% of what Franks has mentioned here in this video about Islam is absolutely wrong, and with all due respect lacks basic knowledge of Islam. The following are only a couple of examples of what's wrong in this 3min clip by Frank, and I am not going to get into much details here, if you are a truth seeker, please look into it and search for the truth yourself. * Humanity is good by nature - wrong, read the Prophet Muhammad narration, "Every son of Adam is a sinner and the best sinners are those who repent" - The only exception to this is the prophets, they are not sinners. * As per to frank (quoting from Quran), "God would never cause a prophet to go through that much suffering"!! You cannot be more distant from the truth, can you quote here the exact phrase that says that? Doesn't exist, as a matter of fact, the Quran states the exact opposite. All prophets been through so much suffering including Jesus and Muhammad, and there were many who were tortured and beheaded by their people. * Frank said "They (Muslims) believe that the Bible is corrupted except where it helps their theology" --> Wrong again, we believe it is corrupted (intentionally and unintentionally) due to many factors, and the simplest factor is the translation very likely would not be able to convey the same exact meaning that God Himself put in the scripture.. The scripture is the word of God, and the translation is limited by the ability of the human being, so, there will HAVE TO BE substance lost in the translation, and there will have to be something that not necessarily conveyed in the translated text. Hence, the Bible text among us, cannot be assured it is the exact word of God, nor it can be denied. And that's what Prophet Muhammad said in a narration, "What the People of the Book told you, do not believe them or deny them, and say: Believe in God and his messengers. So that if it is invalid, you did not believe it, and if it is the truth you did not deny it". Accordingly, we can NEVER say, "this part is corrupted" and "this part isn't corrupted", we don't know what's corrupted and what's not unless it is something that 100% matches what's stated in Quran, then from a Muslim perspective, if that part from the Bible matches the Quran, then it has to be right, and then it is OK to quote it from wither the Quran or the Bible, because they are the same. * "Jihad is only assurance"!! I don't know where do you get that from? And what do you mean by Jihad? Be clear and honest, the meaning of Jihad in Islam is fighting the evil from within.. So, if I have an urge to commit a sin, and I fight that urge, this is "Jihad" (fighting the evil within myself).. And again "Jihad is the only assurance" is not an accurate statement at all, can you share where you got that from? Can you quote that part from the Quran or the Prophet narrations? The fact is, the only assurance is the "mercy of Allah", nothing else. You do your part and be as much good as you could, as said in Quran 2:286 "Allah burdens not a person beyond his scope. He gets reward for that (good) which he has earned, and he is punished for that (evil) which he has earned. “Our Lord! Punish us not if we forget or fall into error, our Lord! Lay not on us a burden like that which You did lay on those before us; our Lord! Put not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Pardon us and grant us Forgiveness. Have mercy on us. You are our Maula (Patron, Suppor-ter and Protector, etc.) and give us victory over the disbelieving people." * As for the last slide, it is ALL WRONG, except for the first part that Muhammad was born like any human being and other Prophets peace be upon them all. And Jesus was born in a miracle by God through Mother Merry. Everything else in that slide is absolutely wrong. I think these are enough corrections, there are other minor stuff, but these are the major ones.. So again, I am not going to discuss this here, comments discussion IMO is never a good forum for a constructive and useful discussions. But, if you like to seek the truth, go read a bit rather than sticking to a stand. I am here because I have been (and will ever be) in a continuous quest for truth, I listen to many topologists (not only Muslims or Christians) to understand their perspective, and get closer to the truth as I can be. Sorry if I offend anyone, that’s definitely not the intention here. And forgive me if I have spelling or grammatical mistakes. May Allah (God) guide us all to the right path.

Thank you for taking time to point out where you think the presentation misrepresented your beliefs. It is good to hear from more than one source in case some information is not accurate. . From your post above, though, it is clear to me that Turek's overall point is still valid: Islam and Christianity are not the same religion, nor are they compatible as some people claim. The biggest question revolves around these points: . 1) Who or what is God? 2) What is mankind's nature? 3) How is sinful man reconciled to holy God? . Followers of Islam rely on works and deeds of one's self. Followers of Christianity rely on belief and trust in the works of Jesus. Like oil and water, those two beliefs cannot mix, by definition.

Frank is WRONG nearly in everything he says. Lets analyze his points one by one: 1. God is absolutely One in islam but three in one in christianity - In this point, Islam is in line with ALL THE PROPHETS OF GOD who believed that God is ONE AND ONLY not 3in1 not 1in3 or any other way. In fact the trinity that christians believe today was invented nearly 4 centuris after Jesus. So, for the first 3 centuries christians did not believe this theory of trinity that christians believe today. So, in this regard, muslims are in line with all the prophets of God. 2. Humanity is good by nature according to islam but sinful according to christianity - Well yes, all humans are born free of sin, nobody inherits the sin of others, and this is a clear teaching in the bible also, a teaching that of course christians oppose because of a person named Paul. So christians are ready to throw all the prophets of God under a bus and follow a liar who never met Jesus and made himself even grater than the apostles of Jesus. What a bad choice!!! 3. In islam Jesus is a prophet who did miracles and in christianity Jesus is the second of the trinity who then was incarnated - When it comes to islam i agree with Frank, but when it comes to christianity, if he means by that according to the bible, then absolutely NOT. According to Jesus' words in the gospels, he never claimed divinity, he never mentioned the Trinity, and he never heared the trinity, this is a complete idolatry and disbelief according to the bible, in fact is the worst form of idolatry. If Jesus was God, then he should have claimed this clearly ,and not once, but hundreds of times, that he is God, he is the Creator of everything, He is Allpowerfull, Allknowing and things like these, just like God makes these kind of claims througout the entire Bible and in the Quran. But NO, nothing like that from Jesus himself. But the problem is that christians believe more in others than in Jesus himself. 4. In islam Jesus didnt die and rose from the dead because he says that God would not let a prophet to go through that kind of suffering?! And in christianity Jesus died and rose from the dead with the same phyaical body?! - Well, it is true that according to islam Jesus didnt die and of course was not resurrected, but where did Frank get the idea that God would not let a prophet to go through that kind of suffering?! This is not true. In fact the greatest tests in this world were sent to the prophets. Coming to christianity, yes I agree that according to this religion Jesus died and resurrected, BUT according to the bible, this issues is completely contradictory. There are many clear indications in the bible that Jesus did not die on the cross and normally was not resurrected. According to the bible he had to be saved. The OT says that the Mesiah will be saved and lifted up by the angels, and this is exactly the islamic position. 5. Frank says that In islam the bible is corrupted except where it helps islam's theology and they quote it and say that this part is not corrupted. In christianity, the bible is the word of God - First of all, when islam says that the bible is corrupted, this doesnt mean at all that the entire bible is corrupted. There are still many true things in the bible, there is the word of God, the word of the prophets (until here we ate ok), but there is also the word of others, who sometimes were known and sometimes unknown, completely anonymous authors who wrote in the name of God but had nothing to do with the inspiration of God. So how can we believe that what they wrote was from God?! In fact christian scholars themselves admit that there are many things takes out and put inside the bible during the centuries. The closest verse to the trinity 1 john 5:7 is proven to be false and in the modern bibles it is thrown away as a forgery. This is just an example, amd there are thousands like that. 6. Salvation in islam is through good deeds, escape from bad deeds, but jihad is the only assurace of salvation?! No it is not. First of all What is Jihad?! Jihad means to struggle. After coming from a battle, Prophet Muhamed a.s. said to his friends that now we left the small jihad and we enter the great jihad. His friends asked him what is the great jihad and he says the struggle against you own self, angainst your own evil desires, in other words, to change other things around you, first change yourself, try to be as good as possible and avoid the bad things as much as you can. So this is the real jihad and the most important form all. In christianity salvation is a free gift just you have to believe in Christ and atonement. Well in christianity is also conditional - you have to beleie in Jesus as God and in his atonement, to believe in the Trinity, otherwise you cannot be saved. But the problem is that this Trinity that christians believe today did not exist until around 4 centuries after Jesus. So what will happen with all those christians? Also even a greater problem is that NOT A SINGLE PROPHET ever believed in the so called Trinity and none of them believed that God will come as a human and die for the sins of humanity. So how were they saved? If they were saved, that means that the way of salvation was already there and there was no need for Jesus to die, so he died for nothing, but if they were not saved that means that God sent messengers to tell the people the true path to be saved but they themselves could not have been saved. 7. MUHAMED AND JESUS In the end Frank compares Jesus and Muhamed and says that if he was a muslim and reads the Quran, he would have become a christian just because of these points. Well lets see these points one by one: A. Muhamed was not born of a virgin but Jesus is - Does this prove that Jesus is greater than Muhamed? Of course not. Adam was born wothout a father and mother, but still he is not greater than Jesus. This was a miracle of God done to Jesus and his mother Mary, but this doesnt prove at all that he was greater than Muhamed or that he was God. B. Muhamed was not sinless but Jesus was - Muhamed was sent as a role model and he prayed to God more than anyone: first of all to also tell us that when he has to pray to God for forgiveness then what anout others, and also when a person asked him why do you pray when God has forgiven you about everything, the prophet answers :"Sholdnt I be grateful to God?" So praying to God is not only for forgiveness of sins but also for gratitude towards Him and this is exactly what prohet Muhamed did. Also we have to make a distinction between a sin and a mistake because they are not the same. C. Muhamed is not the Messiah but Jesus is - Ok so what?! God reserved special titles to special prophets for ex. the title "Friend of God" was reserved to Ibrahim, even though all the prohets of God are friends of God, Jesus was called the word from God, because he was created in a special manner, even though everything is created by the same word of God, only by the order "Be and it is". The titles "resulallah", "Mustapha", "Habibullah" etc were reserved for prophet Muhamed, even though all the prophets were like those titles. So nothing to be surprised here. D. Muhamed didnt do miracles but Jesus did - Muhammed never claimed to do miracles?! Again quoting one part of the story and leaving the rest of the story. He is talking about the verses that were revealed before the miracles happened and leaves aside the verses that were revealed after the miracles. In fact the pagans were saying to Muhammed that if he did miracles they would believe in him, and he was telling them that he was not sent to do miracles and on the other side, God was telling Muhamed that even if you do miracles they still will not believe. But the pagans insisted on their request on miracles, and after all their insists, it was about time for the miracle. Muhamed gathered his followers and pagans and in front of everyone he splitted the moon and this miracle is mentioned in the Quran 53:1-3. And what happened? The pagans didnt believe it just like God informed Muhamed before, and called it a magic. Prophet Muhamed recited many times these verses, and if it didnt happen, then the believers would have doubted and the pagans would have said that Muhamed was lying. But the opposite happened. The believers faith was growing even more and the only option left for the pagans was "This is pure magic" (53:1-3). This event is mentioned in the hadith as well. E. Muhamed is not the word of God but Jesus is - Ive explained this in my upper point that different titles were reserved for different prophets, even though all the creations was created by the word of God "Be and it is" F. Muhamed's body is in the grave but Jesus is in heaven - Ok so what does that mean? According to the same souces that he is refering to, Jesus will be back, will rule and judge with the Quran and the sunnah of Muhamed, will correct christians about their belief of the trinity, will show to the jews that he is the Messiah , will die and then be buried next to prophet Muhamed, where in his chamber there is an empty place reserved for Jesus.

I was watching a video of John Lennox preach, and he was explaining the importance of salvation and love. here is my analogy on it, If you went to heaven based on your deeds: it isnt showing what love is. God shows love for people who want a eternal relationship with him, and his gift is salvation-this is love. If salvation was based on your deeds then God would not be love and, salvation wouldn't really be a gift out of love, but a cause of a passing "grade"

The Qur’an tells us to follow the law and the Gospel but the Gospel contradicts the Qur’an, so there must be something wrong with Islam not Christianity.

Gospel is different than your Bible. Qur'an is the TRUTH whatever complies with it we believe whatever differs we reject. Let me give you the explanation, a book was given to Moses and after he died people changed it for their own desires than God send a prophet Jesus to call them back to the truth, again after he left people changed things, than God send Muhammad a.s the last messenger with a book Quran which can not be changed to call us again back to the truth and so now we have the TRUTH and with that TRUTH we can see what was changed before from men and what not, the source is GOD so why is it so hard to understand, it doesn't mean that which book is older is better lol... We know that you have in your Bible some words of GOD but a lot of corruption is there too so how do we know which one is true which is false we judge it by QURAN. FOR example Who incited David to count the fighting men of Israel? (a) God did (2 Samuel 24: 1) (b) Satan did (I Chronicles 2 1:1) so please open your mind and learn about Islam you will see everything makes sens

Im a convert from Christianity to Islam, and would like to indicate some misconceptions created by Frank's slides on Islam: HUMANITY - Humans being "good" by nature refers to the guilt felt by humans when they do evil. But Islam also says that Humans were created "weak in determination" and thus bent towards doing sinful acts. Frank is confusing these two totally different aspects. MIRACLES - When Islam says "Muhammad did not perform miracles", it simply means that God was the one who performed the miracles, and it does not mean that no miracles were done through Muhammad (the biggest of which are the Ascension of the Prophet into the heavens, and the Moon-Splitting). This distinction is done in Islam in order to save humanity from deifying the Prophets. Regarding the miracles of Jesus, the Quran clearly states that Jesus performed miracles "at God's permission", just like it is stated by Jesus himself in the Bible. All such Quranic arguments are aimed at stopping people from deifying the prophets. WORD OF GOD and VIRGIN BORN - Jesus being the Word of God is constantly compared in the Qur'an to Adam who is also the word of God. It simply refers to Jesus being a direct creation and not a derived creation, just like Adam was. It has nothing to do with the Christian interpretation of Logos. The point that Quran stresses by saying that Jesus was the word of God is to show that he was God's peculiar creation and Christians shouldn't use it to make a god out of him. BODY IN HEAVEN - Islam says that Jesus body is currently in the 2nd Heaven, and that he will return to the earth to rule for 40 years, and his body will be laid to rest in Madina. As for Muhammad (sall.), he too ascended into the heavens, crossed the 2nd heaven, met Jesus, went up until the 7th heaven and had a conversation with God, and then returned to earth, and later laid to rest in Madina. CORRUPTION OF THE BIBLE - One of the purposes of sending down the Quran is to reinstate the original religion of Abraham. "Reinstating" obviously implies that some aspects of other Abrahamic Religions like Judaism & Christianity deviated from the Straight Path. So whatever errors are indicated by the Qur'an implies corruption of those aspects in their scriptures. So Muslims are free to use the non-corrected aspects of the Bible as long as it alignes with the Qur'an.

The difference should be on neutral bases. Islam and it's teaching are true and it's proof is that there is not a single word change if anyone compares any two copies of Quran From any part of world and many factors are already discribed in Quran that science is proving them right now.

In the Old Testament there are a number of instances of God telling Israel to completely wipe out the peoples who inhabited the land called Palestine (e.g. Deut 7:1-4,16,24). If we want to find the truth, we must look at the teachings objectively, without prejudice. "the problem of the christians is that they are believe and quote scripture which is already known to be filled with various insertions and fabricated texts by Greek monks around the 4th century... If you study the matter, you will discover that in early discovered Christian manuscripts such as the Codex Sinaiticus, Codex Vaticanus, Alexandrian Codex, and Armenian Codex, there is no mention of the same Trinity in the book of John 5:7. This verse in the modern Bible reads as follows (5:7): "For there are three that testify: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one." But in the original texts of all ancient manuscripts until the 4th century, it reads as follows (5:8): "And there are three that testify on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three are in agreement." Also absent in all ancient manuscripts is the story of Jesus saving the adulteress from being stoned with the words "let he who is without sin cast the first stone"... In other words, this story is entirely fabricated. There are so many such insertions and distortions that even the most important prayer of modern Christianity, the Lord's Prayer, sounds different in the original... Therefore, it is not surprising that in some places Jesus asserts that he is the Son of Man, a servant of God, and a messenger, while in others, suddenly, it is claimed that he is almost God himself... Through the example of these manuscripts, we see that the text underwent distortions towards Trinitarianism and the affirmation of the Trinity..." Also the Old Tastement was corrupted: Jeremiah 8:8 How can you say, 'We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us'? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes has made it into a lie"

I admire you Dr. Turek, especially your work on theism vs. atheism dialogue; however, I find this shockingly inaccurate. First: we, Muslims, believe humans are born sinless and they tend to sin as adults, but we don't necessarily believe they're good in nature in the sense that they don't tend to commit any wrongs. "Indeed, we offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it; but man [undertook to] bear it. Indeed, he was unjust and ignorant." (Holy Quran 33:72). Second: You said that we believe that the Bible is corrupted but quote it when it helps our theology. We NEVER quote the Bible as evidence for our theology, but when debating a Christian, we may use verses from the Bible to show contradictions or challenge claims he/she makes. For instance, quoting John 14:28 "The Father is greater than I" to emphasize that the Bible makes a clear distinction between the Father and the Son. Plus, professors of New Testament textual criticism, including the Christian apologists, like Daniel Wallace, have asserted that the Bible has been corrupted, and the number of variations in the New Testament exceed the number of its words as Daniel Wallace points out in one video on KZbin. So I think we don't after all disagree that much with Christians on that one. Third: Jihad is the only assurance for salvation!!! Source?? Absolutely not true. In fact, evidence suggests otherwise. Allah says in the Holy Quran (40:40), "Whoever does an evil deed will not be recompensed except by the like thereof; but whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - those will enter Paradise, being given provision therein without account." Prophet Muhammed pbuh also says in an authentic hadith, "whoever says, 'there's no god but Allah,' will enter Paradise." I was born, raised, and educated in Saudi Arabia, and never heard or read something like this. Fourth: Muhammed did no miracles! Yet again unsubstantiated! The nature of the Quran itself, we believe, is a miracle. Many other miracles are well documented as well. Just Google it. Finally you say if you were a Muslim, and you saw all these differences between Muhammed and Jesus, you'd become a Christian. I say any Christian reading these differences should ask themselves, "Why would a supposedly fake prophet come up with a religion that praises another prophet much more than himself?" We believe that God is one, and that Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammed are all His mighty prophets. 'Say, "O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equitable between us and you - that we will not worship except Allah and not associate anything with Him and not take one another as lords instead of Allah ." But if they turn away, then say, "Bear witness that we are Muslims [submitting to Him]."' Holy Quran (3:64)

It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. How could you believe in such a man who, according to himself does not have assurance of where he was going after his death saying it's upto allah to ethier send him to hell or heaven. You better seek salvation in Jesus and see for yourself, not to continue to believe in lies and deceits.

@@ay1ism In those days they didn't have the culture of writing down, they passed down information orally and so could remember immense amounts of information. Authentic hadiths have clear chains of narration right up to the Prophet Muhammad, it was simple, the early Muslims remembered what the Prophet had said since their teachers told them, since they transferred information orally their teachers could remember it clearly. Even if there was doubt that one single person in the chain was even slightly unreliable the hadith was deemed not authentic. But you just go on dismiss hadiths, without actually knowing the science of hadith.

Yeah… this is part of why I got out of Christianity. You’re literally laughing at someone because they don’t believe the same things you do. You don’t seem concerned with loving your neighbor, just making sure you’re right.

true love is caring enough about the soul of your neighbor to guide him in the direction you know to be the Way to Eternal Life. Deep down, the TRUTH is that all of us people are sinners at our heart, we don't worship God with all of heart mind and soul. We would rather declare morality for ourselves and create a God that agrees with our sense of good deeds, instead of being a God of Justice and Righteousness. Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Jesus said I and the Father are One. Jesus said I am the Way, the Truth, the Life. Ask Jesus tonight if He called you out of the darkness into the Light, out of the wilderness into His flock. I pray the answer is yes. = -Amen

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in the New Testament: Al-Qur'an Chapter 61 Verse 6: "And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said, 'O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me and giving glad tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmed.' But when he came to them with clear signs, they said, 'This is evident sorcery!' " All the prophecies mentioned in the Old Testament regarding Muhammad (pbuh) besides applying to the Jews also hold good for the Christians. 1. John chapter 14 verse 16: "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever." 2. Gospel of John chapter 15 verse 26: "But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me." 3. Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 7: "Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you". "Ahmed" or "Muhammad" meaning "the one who praises" or "the praised one" is almost the translation of the Greek word Periclytos. In the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, and 16:7. The word 'Comforter' is used in the English translation for the Greek word Paracletos which means advocate or a kind friend rather than a comforter. Paracletos is the warped reading for Periclytos. Jesus (pbuh) actually prophesised Ahmed by name. Even the Greek word Paraclete refers to the Prophet (pbuh) who is a mercy for all creatures. Some Christians say that the Comforter mentioned in these prophecies refers to the Holy Sprit. They fail to realise that the prophecy clearly says that only if Jesus (pbuh) departs will the Comforter come. The Bible states that the Holy Spirit was already present on earth before and during the time of Jesus (pbuh), in the womb of Elizabeth, and again when Jesus (pbuh) was being baptised, etc. Hence this prophecy refers to none other than Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). 4. Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 12-14: "I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you unto all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me".

That's really good that you are quoting the verse of Bible so that means you believe that whatever mentioned in the bible is True. Right brother ? Also have a look for the verses mentioned below from the bible that might help you to get on the conclusion. John 8:58 58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM. John 14:9 Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? John 10:30 I and the Father are one." Brother, we are not here to win the argument but to win the soul.

@@spread_awareness1234 Show me unequivocally a verse from your Bible where Jesus (peace be upon him) himself said I am God or where he says worship me. Lets analyze this verse. “Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.” (John 8:58) The reasons Christians give that Christ (pbuh) claimed divinity here are: A. Jesus existed before Abraham. B.“I am” is the name of God in the Bible (Exodus 3:14) Lets analyze both the reasons. A. If Jesus (pbuh) existed before Abraham that does not make him God in anyway because even angels existed before Abraham. They existed before the world was created. Does it make them God? No ! Jesus (pbuh) was with God before Abraham (pbuh) , but in what form? ! It means in the knowledge of God we all were there. Jeremiah is said to have been made a Prophet before his birth. The Bible says “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”(Jeremiah 1:5) In Islam, we share somewhat a similar belief. The Quran says “When thy Lord drew forth from the Children of Adam - from their loins - their descendants (in the spirit form), and made them testify concerning themselves, (saying): “Am I not your Lord (who cherishes and sustains you)?”- They said: “Yea! We do testify!” (This), lest ye should say on the Day of Judgment: “Of this we were never mindful”:(Quran 7:172) B. The Christians claim that “I am” is the name of God in the Bible in Exodus 3:14. The verse reads “And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.” (Exodus 3:14) “Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, God ( I am.)” We have no objection in agreeing that God was there before Abraham. Before Abraham I am means, since I am is the name of God, before Abraham was God was. I am means God himself. This is sufficient to prove that in John 8:58 Jesus did not claim divinity.

So in christianity, we inherit the sin of Adam and that is paid for by God himself who sacrificed his son? So where is human accountability for sin? The biggest difference between Christianity and Islam is that in Islam you are responsible for your own sin and your own repentance, and no one enters heaven without God's forgiveness. In Christianity your sin and salvation has nothing to do with you or your actions, and God isn't able to forgive sins without a sacrifice.

38 Simple Reasons Why Jesus Is Not God 1- God Doesn’t Change His Nature (Malachi 3:6) 2- GOD Almighty is Greater than Jesus. (John 14:28 ) 3- No one is "Good" including Jesus. Only GOD is" Good" (Luke 18:19) 4- Jesus said he doesn't know when the Hour will come. Only GOD Knows. (Mark 13:32) 5- Jesus said that" OUR God is One GOD (Mark 12:29 ) 6- Jesus also said "My GOD and your GOD" (John 20:17) 7- Jesus bowed his face down to the ground to GOD Almighty. (Matthew 26:39) 8- Jesus was tempted by satan for 40 days (Mat1:4), while GOD Almighty can not be tempted (Jacob 1:13) 9- Jesus said he is a man (John 8:40) 10- God is neither a man nor a son of a man (Numbers 23:19) 11- No one can see God (1 John 4:20) but people saw Jesus 12- God is the living and everlasting (Habakkuk 1:12) 13- Jesus always confessed he is just a prophet sent by God (Matthew 21:10-11) 14- God Declared Himself to be God, Jesus didn't (Ezekiel 20:20) 15- Jesus told his real mission was to preach not sacrifice Mark1:38) 16- Jesus desired Mercy not Sacrifice (Matthew 9:13) 17- Jesus referred himself as Servant: Matthew 10:24, 24:45, 12:18 John 13:16 18- Referred himself as Prophet: Matthew 13:16,21:11, Mark 6:15, 6;4, 9;37, Luke 7:16, 9:8, 9:19, John 13:17, 7:16, 6:14, 7:40 d 19- Referred himself as Son of Man: Matthew 5:9, 17:22, 8:20, 18:11, 26:2, Luke 9:22, John 5:27 20- Referred himself as a Slave: John 13:16, Matthew 10:24 21- Referred himself as a Student: Matthew 10:24 22- Father is Grater than Jesus (John 14:28) How can someone be greater than God? 23- Jesus was taught by the Father (John 8:28) 24- Jesus can do nothing by himself (John 5:19, John 5:30) 25- Jesus does not even have his own doctrine (John 7:16) 26- Jesus ascended to his God (John 20:17) 27- According to Christian Jesus died as recorded in Matthew 27:27-56 but Bible says that God is infinite Psalm 102:27-27 28- Jesus needed to Pray, Eat, Drink and was Helped by a Woman, as stated in Luke 8:1-3 but God in Bible is self-sufficient Psalm 50:12 29- The God remain the same in nature (Hebrews 1:12) 30- Jesus is the same human today, yesterday and forever (Hebrew 13:8) 31- Jesus could not save anyone as he was even not able to save himself (Hebrews 5:1-8) 32- Jesus said he was sent to lost sheep of Israel (Matthew 15:24) 33- God can not be born and perhaps form His own creation 34- Jesus never told people to worship him 35- Jesus did not Teach Trinity 36- God is the essence of the worship. Ulfat Dawood You're giving a nice PC answer about Islam that simply doesn't go with the creator of your religion. Muhammad said the best form of jihad was when "a man's blood is shed and his horse is wounded." It amazes me how many Muslims are clueless about their own religion, what was said and not said.

Well done! Nice light moment at the end. The easiest falsehood(IMHO) to rebut from Islamic imams would be that the scriptures have been changed. Any muslim can come on KZbin and see a Rabbi debate a Christian scholar on Isaiah 7:14 and see it is on the meaning of the word on not on its existence.

@@christina-jacob Dr. Turek, I follow your work, I'm a Muslim and i'm a student of Islamic studies in Lebanon with a master's in engineering from Cornell in NY. I really would like you not to say that salvation is by way of Jihad any more in your presentations because that is simply not true. The way to salvation is outlined clearly throughout the Quran through 1. Correct Belief and 2. good works/deeds. Jihad is struggling against ones evil desires, satan, and yes at times Jihad of the sword (against enemies for self protection when attacked or when not allowed to practice one's religion) but it is not a pillar of the faith. Muslims have 6 pillars of faith that are clearly laid out in the hadith of Gabrial to Prophet Muhammad (1. Belief in 1 God (Allah in Arabic), 2. Belief in Angels, 3. @my3stooges Dr. Belief in divine books (original ones) 4. Belief in all the prophets, 5. Belief in Judgement Day and 6. @my3stooges Why did God order Israel to kill men, women and children? In the Old Testament there are a number of instances of God telling Israel to completely wipe out the peoples who inhabited the land called Palestine (e.g. Deut 7:1-4,16,24). Doesn’t that make the God of the Old Testament a harsh and unjust God, completely different from the God of love portrayed in the New Testament?😊

Praise the Lord for his son Jesus Christ who walked the earth to spread the message that others have tried to shut him down from🙌🏼🙏🏼❤️

He said he didn’t do miracles the Quran was his only one. The miracles were attributed to him I think a 150 years after in the Hadith. If Muhammad. All the prophets are not sinless because if we have the same prophets that means when David committed adult at the expense of someone else’s life God was wrong to punish him. Or when Noah ran from God he didn’t do anything wrong.

Dr Frank Why Hide Jesus's statement?? Matthew 10:34 Jesus Christ quotes: " Think Not I have come to send peace on Earth, I have not come to Send peace but a Sword."
@jesusistruth61608 жыл бұрын
Raul Madrid It is metaphorical, because he didn't call to kill anyone. He just knew that many people will hate and attack his followers, and he also knew that it will create divisions, but Jesus never taught to kill infidels and those who don't accept his teachings. In fact, even when one of his Apostles tried to defend him he said:Put away your sword," Jesus told him. "Those who use the sword will die by the sword"

Just ice You are mistaken when you put your own words about Jesus when Jesus himself quoted the verse I stated earlier and then tell me it's a "metaphor". Incase you misunderstood 'Sword' Jesus explains a little closer about what he is talking about by his quote. Go to Luke 19:27 Jesus as quoted: But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and SLAY them before me.

Why you became Christian
@artanaxhirexha6917 Жыл бұрын
If you were really a muslim and left idlt for christianity then im telling you that you have made a terrible choice and you will regret deeply for that, i just hope that this regret will not be too late By the way in this vodeo Frank is WRONG nearly in everything he says.

"Jihad" means "struggle" or "striving" (in the way of God) or to work for a noble cause with determination; it does not mean "holy war" (war in Arabic is harb and holy is muqadassa). ... We always struggle within ourselves to refrain from doing bad things, adultery, alcohol, etc and to help the poor sole for the God acceptance. There is also Jihad against influence of Satan and Jihad to protect your land against the enemy.

💡[Quran 4:157-158] And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah ." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise. And see what the Quran says about what will happen in the day of resurrection 💡[Quran 4:159] And there is none from the People of the Scripture but that he will surely believe in Jesus before his death. And on the Day of Resurrection he will be against them a witness. We see this exactly in the Bible too: 💡Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?' 💡Matthew 7:23 Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!' Who is saying everything on the name of Jesus? Let’s ask The Only True God to guide us all👏🤲 Amen 💡 John 17:3 (NIV) “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”

I don't really get your response. If you are implying that the bible leaves any doubt about whether Jesus died on the cross and rose again, then you should read the gospels again. If you doubt whether Jesus is God the Son, or doubt the trinity in some other sense, it's wrong to just quote that text and conclude that.

But you refused to let him go; so I will kill your firstborn son.'" @O C How can you be sure that what you have today is the truth Bible? As we know Jesus preach his own gospel, and not Bibles that we have today. The English word "Bible" comes from bíblia in Latin and bíblos in Greek. The term means books. So how are you sure that the Gospel of Jesus has all books? 📕66 books in the Protestant 📗73 books in the Catholic 📙86 books in the Orthodox 📘76 books in the Charismatic 💡Mark 1:14 « Now after John had been taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, » The Bible that we have to day, is a book about Jesus, and not what Jesus preach at his time. ? Imagine if tomorrow we find The Gosple of Jesus, and in this gospel we find something very clear, black in white, that Jesus is not a God, do you think that Christians or church will accept it? In reality, you have it on your Bible 💡Luke 6:46 "Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say? If you believe on something and you want to see it, it will appear to you. Example if you look at clouds or stars you can imagine figures, and they can appear to you! Is the same with your, because you believe that Jesus is God even if he never says it you will find a way to say, he means that or that,...

@Michiel vd Vlies Let’s read it again and see : 💡Psalm 2:7-8 “I will declare the decree: The LORD has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession. In this verse, we clearly see that GOD Almighty supposedly had begotten a son for Himself. The Jews claim that it was King David, while the Christians claim that it was Jesus. 😊 We must know that King David came approximately 500 years or so after Moses. My simple question to you my friend is: If Jesus is the Creator of the Universe or part of GOD Almighty, then how is it possible for Psalm 2:7 to be referring to Jesus, when on a day approximately 500 years after the revelations of the Book of Genesis somebody got begotten by GOD Almighty? 🤔 Did the GOD of the Bible became a triune GOD after 500 years of His first Revelations? And if so, this still contradicts trinity, because in Psalm 2:7, we would then have a dual god and not a triune god!🤔 May the Only True God guid us all and show us the truth 😇🤲👏 Amen! As Jesus peace be upon him says all the time: 💡 John 17:3 (NIV) “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”

I notice in the vehement comments against this video that there are no specific and verifiable references either. Just gas and noise without any citation as to location of "proofs." Dr. Belief in divine books (original ones) 4. Belief in all the prophets, 5. Belief in Judgement Day and 6. Belief in divine destiny (that God knows all that is going to happen, He's written down, He allows good and bad things to happen because life is a test and has created all things but He gave us the free-will to choose our path in life) - Jihad is not a pillar of the faith and it is not a requirement for salvation. Moreover Surah al Asr (chapter 103)summarizes how to succeed in life - God says: By Time, Indeed man is in loss, except those who have faith and do righteous deeds, and enjoin one another to [follow] the truth, and enjoin one another to patience." I appreciate you correcting that in your presentations, and continue being objective and accurate as we know you. Thank you and best regards from Beirut! Makram Raad

That true but Jesus pays the price for you on the cross and as long as your accept him in your heart you will be saved. The Bible doesn’t promise your going to have the best life ever when you becomes Christian it promises death, persecution, and tribulations. If Jesus was perfect and did nothing wrong yet was crucified why would we have a better life than him. If you sin after you accept that doesn’t mean you’ve lost your salvation.

Well in fact Frank is WRONG nearly in everything he says.

💡The last sermon of Prophet Muhammad which he delivered: O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your Lord, and that He will indeed reckon your deeds. God has forbidden you to take usury (interest), therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer any inequity. God has Judged that there shall be no interest, and that all the interest due to Al-Abbas ibn Abd’el Muttalib shall henceforth be waived... Beware of Satan, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things. O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under a trust from God and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste. O People, listen to me in earnest, worship God, perform your five daily prayers, fast during the month of Ramadan, and offer Zakat. Perform Hajj if you have the means. All mankind is from Adam and Eve. An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor does a non-Arab have any superiority over an Arab; a white has no superiority over a black, nor does a black have any superiority over a white; [none have superiority over another] except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves. Remember, one day you will appear before God and answer for your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone. O People, no prophet or apostle will come after me, and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O people, and understand words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Quran and my example, the Sunnah, and if you follow these you will never go astray. All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and it may be that the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness, O God, that I have conveyed your message to your people."

Jesse D, first humans (Adam and Eve) were in heaven with God, however despite all that bliss, perfection and God's love for his creations, they disobeyed him (first Eve, then Adam) by eating from Eden's garden (due to Lucifer's deception). After that, all three, among other 1/3 of fallen angels (Satan's worshipers), were cast out of Heaven. That is our origin, I can list you other people that are direct first descendants of Adam and Eve (from the Old Testament). P.S. Even to this day, most women are like Eve (never truly satisfied and always looking for more) and many men follow their example (like Adam).

My mother is a speech pathologist. She taught a Muslim girl better English. The grandmother was a devout Muslim who gave my mother a Qur'an and shared some of her beliefs. The most odd belief she shared was they don't believe Jesus is the Messiah, they also believe in the final battle of Gog and Megog but for some reason in her story Jesus is going to come back at that final battle and save the Muslims from the Israelites.... So if Jesus isn't the Messiah how is he supposed to return in their story? You can see how broken and false their teachings are.

I like how you misrepresented why they don't believe Jesus could not have died. It's very simple too. 1. Can god die? 2. Was Jesus god? If you answered no to the first, but yes to the second, you have a contradiction going. I should not have to go further to explain this.

***** You didn't answer the first. Or you don't realize what a contradiction is. It's like I'm trying to teach elementary kids here. Look, if you are saying god can't die, and Jesus was god, then he could not have died. You for some reason think it's okay to die, as long as you come back alive. Well...now it seems you don't know what it means to die. Which is another contradiction in itself if you think someone can die, be raised again, and is now alive, but did not die. I really really don't know how you can not see this and it makes my heard hurt trying to explain it.

In Orthodoxy the view on Human Nature is that we are born good because we still are in the image of God, and baptism solidifies this, however the catch is that we are easily strayed by sin but by nature we are good if we resist temptation.
@Nicholas_Schaeffer3 жыл бұрын
@Society of Light Well Man is sinful in the sense that he is corruptible by sin, however of course Paul also did say those who knew not God had the good nature within their heart, so in that man is both good by nature, yet also fallen in his nature because Adam sinned and so we die also.

@Society of Light Romans 2:14 "Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law." They do by nature things of the law, because man by nature desires to follow the good law of their hearts, and if even Gentile pagans do such a thing than all of man has the capacity to, and Christians more so can expand upon this law in their hearts and use it to be closer to God despite our susceptibility to sin.

ARK ANGEL That's what people say when they don't know the Quran and Bible in detail. One is an obvious counterfeit. Muhammad said Jesus was not the Son of God, never died on the cross, never resurrected, never died for our sins, among about 100 other inaccuracies. Jesus was the predicted Messiah of the Old Testament, many Christians were Jews before they converted, all the disciples were Jews first. Two religions are Abrahamic, Islam is a mess and is grossly inconsistent with the message of Jesus.

@@selungwills7464 Dr. Makram Raad

@@selungwills7464 Why did God order Israel to kill men, women and children? In the Old Testament there are a number of instances of God telling Israel to completely wipe out the peoples who inhabited the land called Palestine (e.g. Deut 7:1-4,16,24). Doesn’t that make the God of the Old Testament a harsh and unjust God, completely different from the God of love portrayed in the New Testament?

@my3stooges Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in the New Testament: Al-Qur'an Chapter 61 Verse 6: "And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said, 'O Children of Israel!

@my3stooges Your Bible is not the word of God Almighty. Let us begin by asking: How many sons does the Bible tell us that God Almighty has? Jacob is God's son and firstborn: "Israel is my son, even my firstborn" Exodus 4:22. Solomon is God's son "He shall build an house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son": 2 Samuel 7:13-14. Ephraim is God's firstborn: "for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn" Jeremiah 31:9 (who is God's firstborn? Israel or Ephraim?). Adam is the son of God "Adam, which was the son of God" Luke 3:38. Common people (you and me) are the sons of God: "Ye are the children of the LORD your God" Deuteronomy 14:1. "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God" Romans 8:14. "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name" John 1:12. "That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;" Philippians 2:15. "Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: ... now are we the sons of God" 1 John 3:1-2. "When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?" Job 38:7. "Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD," Job 2:1. "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD," Job 1:6. "when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men,"Genesis 6:4. "That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they [were] fair" Genesis 6:2 As we can see, the use of the term "son of God" when describing normal human beings was not at all an uncommon practice among Jesus' people. Well then, was Jesus the only begotten son of God ?

Koran The Quran, The first reference to the Sabbath is found in the second chapter. "And ye know of those of you who broke the Sabbath, how We said unto them: Be ye apes, despised and hated! And We made it an example to their own and to succeeding generations, and an admonition to the Godfearing." Q2:65,66. The punishment for this disobedience was a curse in which the people were proclaimed apes. This curse is enlarged upon in Q5:60 "Shall I tell thee of a worse (case) than theirs for retribution with Allah? Worse (is the case of him) whom Allah hath cursed, him on whom His wrath hath fallen! Worse is he of whose sort Allah hath turned some to apes and swine, and who serveth idols. Such are in worse plight and further astray from the plain road." Those turned into apes not only broke the Sabbath, but in so doing served idols. The word for idol here is Taghut, which is one who exceeds the bounds, in this case the boundaries on the observance of the Sabbath. But the word is generalised to refer to the Devil, to people who turn others from the right path, and to all idols in general. Sabbath-breaking is thus Devil-worship, the following of false guides, and idolatry. The next reference to the Sabbath is in chapter four. "O ye unto whom the Scripture hath been given! Believe in what We have revealed confirming that which ye possess, before we destroy countenances so as to confound them, or curse them as We cursed the Sabbathbreakers (of old time), The commandment of Allah is always executed. Lo! Allah forgiveth not that a partner should be ascribed unto Him. He forgiveth (all) save that to whom He will. Whoso ascribeth partners to Allah, he hath indeed invented a tremendous sin." Q4:47,48. The third mention of the Sabbath in the Qur’an is also found in chapter four. "And we caused the Mount to tower above them at (the taking of) their covenant: and We bade them: Enter the gate, prostrate! And we bade them: Transgress not the Sabbath! And We took from them a firm covenant." Q4:154. The fourth passage mentioning the Sabbath is in chapter 7:163. "Ask them (O Muhammad) of the township that was by the sea, how they did break the sabbath, how their big fish came unto them visibly upon their sabbath day and on a day when they did not keep sabbath came they not unto them. Thus did We try them for that they were evil-livers." The Quran, a new translation by Muhammad Zafrulla Khan, Curzon Press, 1971, gives the following: "The penalty for profaning the Sabbath was imposed only on those who had differed about it, and thy Lord will surely judge between them on the day of Judgment concerning that wherein they differed." This is an excellent illustration of how the Qur’an complements and completes the Bible. In the Bible we are faced with two problems. The first is that the punishment for Sabbath-breaking is death. In practice, this is not carried out in the current age. The interpretation of Torah correctly shows that the Sabbath is ongoing and is enforceable by the death penalty. Christ showed by his example how the legislation of the OT was to be interpreted. He did not as Christianity claims abrogate it. More importantly the OT shows that The Sabbath will be enforced again in the Millennial reign of Jesus Christ We know from Zechariah 14:16-21 that the feasts will be enforced during that time and that the punishment will be no rain in due season which carries with it the death penalty by starvation. The second problem is that there is no provision for delaying the Sabbath. If there is something to prevent Sabbath observance on the seventh day, there is no provision in the Torah or any other Scripture for putting it off to the following day, as there is for the Passover, for example, which under certain conditions may be observed in the following month. This means that there are occasions when the intention to observe the Sabbath cannot always be carried out perfectly. If something arises which was unforeseen and unintended, the Sabbath cannot be delayed to the following day. It has to remain as it is, whether or not its observance turned out to be as was intended. Therefore, the punishment is meted out upon those who dispute the obligation. Those who made the proper intention to observe the Sabbath, but whose observance for unforeseen reasons did not match their intention, are not punished for Sabbath-breaking.

We don't quote it to help our theology we caught it to provide christians with the proof of its corruption or to show them how their beliefs don't always match with their book And we don't believe that any of our deeds could outweigh 1 blessing from god we believe we'll enter heaven by god's mercy not by our deeds but we still do our part and try to do what god says we do and avoid what he says we leave. Jihad doesn't only mean dying as a martyr jihad means struggling with yourself like how you struggle with yourself to be good to your parents, neighbors, animals, etc it's suppressing your desires to be bad deeds and when you do them and seek repentance god forgives you by his own well. Also in islam a scholar is better than a martyr. In islam a woman was said once that she'll enter heaven when she gave water to a thirsty dog and another was said she'll enter hell for locking a cat without food and starving it. According to us, prophet Muhammad peace be upon him was also sinless the only mistake i ever heard about was not saying "if god wills" once out of forgetfulness. In islam, Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him is the best character and morals and he's an example for us. Muhammad split the moon and this is a miracle. Also the quran is a miracle. Jesus is the messiah he'll rule with the shria law and break the cross and kill the pig Jesus is a prophet peace be upon him and Muhammad is the last one peace and blessings be upon him Jesus never claimed to be god he says this in the quran The example of jesus is like that of Adam god said be and then they were
