Mo knew that the only way to start his cult was to first try and discredit a few, but very important details about Jesus. He understood that without the resurrection, he could say anything he wanted about Jesus. Part of the reason why I follow Christianity is because.. There was a group named the Gnostics who wrote heretical fake gospels many years way after the authentic original gospels in the New Testament came about. Looking at this objectively, the way the Quran depicts Jesus is not accurate. We know this for 2 big reasons; first being that secular scholars agree Jesus was crucified under pontius Pilate based on many non biblical sources. and the second being that Jesus’ portrayal in the Quran is almost identical to the Gnostic description of Jesus. As nice as it would be to say that ‘everyone is right’, this statement cannot be logically true. Also Isaiah chapter 53-5 describes the suffering of Jesus. We have found the Great Isaiah Scroll which has been carbon dated a hundred years or more before Jesus was born.

Jesus said the only way to the Father (heaven) is through him. So whoever doesn't believe he is God and repents of their sins (which he said too), will not be forgiven by his actions of defeating death and sin on the cross. That is the difference. Unfortunately, Jews and Muslims don't believe Jesus is God/Messiah, so they won't pass judgment. We broke the law, Jesus paid the fine, legally he will let us go, and to pass the law under any other circumstance is to have never broken the law, which nobody can do claim except Jesus.

When Jesus was confronted with people who asked or claimed that he was God, he denied it with Biblical passages such as the one in Psalms that teaches we are all children of God. Some of the disagreements were because Jesus made himself equal with God, not necessarily that he himself claimed to be God. "God" has different definitions, and in some cases, I think the first verse you mentioned, people weren't claiming he was God in the same sense as a Triune God. And also, this wasn't a claim made by him. This was something someone else said about him.

And if they turn away from The Truth, Then Know that GOD is well aware of those , who causes corruption in their religion. 64. Tell them : ''O people of the Scripture ! (Jew's & Christian) Come to common terms as between us and you ; That we worship none but GOD alone , And we associate no partners with HIM , And we shall not take anyone as Lords and savior, Beside GOD alone.'' Here's what confuses me more about Islam than anything. The Quran says that, as a Muslim, if you have trouble understanding something in the Quran, then you go to those that was given the gospel. Someone posted this and I'd love to know how to handle them saying Jesus is merely a prophet because scripture even says he was. Muslims say Jesus is a prophet and messiah. What does Jesus and those close to Jesus say? If this man was GOD, he would never have been called a prophet. Jesus (peace be upon him) would never say such a thing. Even in the bible itself what is attributed to Jesus, even in there nowhere it is recorded that Jesus himself said such a thing. On the contrary: Luke 18:19 And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone. [Qur’an 5:116-5:120] And ˹on Judgment Day˺ Allah will say, “O Jesus, son of Mary! Did you ever ask the people to worship you and your mother as gods besides Allah?” He will answer, “Glory be to You! How could I ever say what I had no right to say? If I had said such a thing, you would have certainly known it. You know what is ˹hidden˺ within me, but I do not know what is within You. Indeed, You ˹alone˺ are the Knower of all unseen. I never told them anything except what You ordered me to say: “Worship Allah-my Lord and your Lord!” And I was witness over them as long as I remained among them. But when You took me, You were the Witness over them-and You are a Witness over all things. If You punish them, they belong to You after all. But if You forgive them, You are surely the Almighty, All-Wise.” Allah will declare, “This is the Day when ˹only˺ the faithful will benefit from their faithfulness. @@neehar6409 As your your first point, [Quran 4:157] (interpretation of the meaning): And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain. And tbh Muslims only quote the bible so that they can point out some things to the christians, but we don’t take the bible as the authority. Even if it had a clear verse in it explaining the concept of trinity (which it doesn’t) we would still reject it. Because we don’t believe it’s the word of God. And i have researched into what christian scholars say and what they say is that the bible has had changes throughout the years. There are literally passages added in and taken out. The authors pf the gospels are also anonymous. There is no chain of narrations. The only reliance is on the manuscripts, and that has a gap of 4 centuries, till codex sinaiticus. There is just no reason to believe in the bible when christian scholars themselves don’t make the claims that it is preserved.

Well a prophet is a man that was chosen by God to convey His message to particular group of people or to all mankind. 2. How did you come to the conclusion that Jesus is a prophet? Well from the Bible itself and also from the Quran. 3. Have you ever considered that if Jesus is just a prophet, he also claimed to be God? The point is that He never claimed to be God. To know and to believe who is God, is the basic and fundamental belief without which you can end in hell, so it is the most important thing from all. If Jesus was really God, then he had to shout and to tell to everyone, not once, but many many times that He is God, He is the Creator of everything, he is Allknowing, All powerfull etc etc just like God is telling us all the time in the Bible and in the Quran that He is ONE AND ONLY, there is nothing like Him, He is the Creator, Allpowerfull and AllKnowing etc etc. To claim that Jesus is God and at the same time to claim that he is a prophet, then you have done a terrible sin by comparing Allpowerful God with a weak and needy creature. 4. He says why would you beleive a document that was written 600 years after Jesus, when we have the documets written by the eyewitnesess. First of all, if the Quran is indeed from God, then even if it came 6 million years after Jesus, still it would be much more precize than the eyewitnesess accounts. Secondly, the gospels WERE NOT written by eye witnesess. They were written by unknown people who tried to take infos from other persons, for ex. the gospel accordin to Matthew is not written by Matthew. Jesus finds Matthew in chapter 9 verse 9. But who wrote the chapters until chapter 9? Also the author of Matthew copied nearly everything from Mark, who at the time of Jesus was a little boy. Now what logic does it make that Matthew, who was a desciple of Jesus to go and copy from a little boy who was not a desiple of Jesus? Also Luke is telling us himself from the beginning of his gospel that he had heared that many people have started to write about the things that happened with Jesus, so he decides by himself (no inspiration no nothing) to write the stories from the beginning to Teofil. In the end of the Gospel according to John, the author of this gospel is telling us that he has taken these infos from a trusted person, from John. Now wait a minute?! Wasnt it John himself that wrote the gospel?! Well, it seems not. Even the titles themselves tell us that Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are not the authors of these books, because if they were the authors then the titles of each gospel should have started with "The gospel of Matthew", "The gospel of Mark" and so on, and not "The gospel ACCORDING to Matthew" or according to Mark, according to Luke, according to John, because this "according to" indicates that third persons have written these things based on what they thought that Matthew or Mark or Luke or John have said. 5. Frank himself says that we have the bible from year 300 after Jesus and it is the same that we use today. Well 300 years after the event is not a little bit, its a huge difference between the witters and the real events. Plus it is in greek and not in the original language. So how can he be sure that for 300 years after the event, things were written the way the events were? 6. He says that Quran says that Jesus was never crucified and didnt die at all, but we have documents 300 years earlier which say the opposite. Ive answered this in point 4. 7. Why would the Quran tell the people of the book to obey the bible when it is corrupted? First of all this is not true and he is adding his own words. The Quran says the Torah and the Gospel, not the OT and the NT or the bible. The Torah and the Gospel were from God, but the OT and NT are completely mixed: there is the word of God, there is the word of the prophets, (until here its ok) BUT there are also the words of other people, who sometimes are known and somentimes unknown. So when the Quran says to the people of the book to obey the Torah and the Gospel, that doesnt mean that there is nothing true there! No, there is still the word of God and the word of the prophets, But even in this bible for example, christians go agains THE MAIN COMMANDMENTS OF GOD and they go against ALL THE PROPHETS OF GOD by believing the Trinity and the human sacrifice. There is no one original Bible manuscript; only fragments and parts of incomplete text in different languages; if there was such a thing it would have been preserved and/or put on display/online. Fact is if we lose 10% in the 1st translation we will lose more in the 2nd, while today's Bible(s) are translated from the original at least a couple of times if not more, and some texts are included in brackets stating that text within are not in the original manuscripts. In addition scholars had thrown away many crucial statements such as "the only begotten son" as fabrication. The Bible you read now is the result of many contestable interpretations but many Christians are refusing to believe that. Christian Bible's range from 66, 73, 80, 81 books for different denominations (Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox, etc.) which one is correct?? The Bible was not meant to be among the many miracles of Prophet Jesus to the Jews and one should ask; why would God leave his only innocent son to be humiliated and crucified to save some sinners as well? And who died really on the cross, god or man? If the man died, then Jesus, peace be upon him, was not a god but a prophet! But if god died then who was running the world; he could never be a god? Beside, Jesus used to eat and drink, how could he be a god while Jesus never claimed to be god and there is not one clear statement saying so? How can any person believe in the term "salvation", which is comprehensive insurance for any deeds just because the person believes in this god or that religion or through his confession to another human, whatever his title? Please research the Roman crucifixion. There's no way one could survive it. Jesus died on the cross, the roman guards had to make sure he was dead before they lowered the body. But the point is : Jesus died for our sins and rose again. It doesn't matter if it was on the cross or off the cross. Now, if Allah made it appear that Jesus die on the cross, then don't you think that Allah is responsible for the creation of the christian lie? I don't get it! When I read the koran, I understand it aknowledges Abraham, Moses and the prophets and it tells us to go verify with the Jews and Christians, however Muslims will say that the Gospel is corrupted and they will cherry pick only what agrees with the koran. If we believe in the same God of Abraham and Moses, then we must accept the Holy Scriptures and the koran must be in line with the previous prophets. The Bible isn't corrupted because it says in 2 Timothy 3:16 that ALL scripture was breathed out by God. How awesome is it that God could use imperfect men like you and me for His Glory. For none is righteous, no not even one. If you read the Bible, you'll understand that the imperfect Old Testament Prophets, point to a perfect Jesus. Jesus is foreshadowed in Abraham and Isaac, when God tells Abraham to sacrifice his own son. Jesus is foreshadowed in Moses being a savior to his people and bringing them out of bondage. (Leaving his Royal status to take the role of a servant, and many other parallels with Moses). Foreshadowed in Jonah, being in the belly of the fish (hell) for 3 days. These are only a few and that's why these men were so imperfect. Because the people of Israel were longing for their Messiah who would save them. That's why the Bible highlights King David's mistakes, and especially Solomon's. Isreal knew the Messiah would come from Judah and then David's line, so highlighting the mistakes of these men, show that they weren't the One God's people have been waiting for since fall of Adam and Eve. Where God promises an offspring who would crush the head of the serpent.

Frank. I read your books and i like some of your stuff. But on Islam you are clearly a laymen. Its not in Chapter 4, its Chapter 3 and chapter 19. The quran does not tell us to obey the bible. The quran says to believe in the gospel of jesus, the tora of moses etc. as a revelation from god. Which doesnt mean that we have to obey these book because 1. they are abrogated by the quran 2. they are corrupted and mainly lost. Look at the new testament gospel if john gospel of mark etc. When we refer to the bible we talk about the gospel of jesus which doesnt exist anymore. There are other things to cover but mainly you misrepresent the islamic theology on your lectures.

How can the Quran tell you to obey something that has been lost? How did it get lost if God is GOD? Don’t you think that he would have made sure to keep it intact and not lost so people could obey it? If he is powerful that should have been very easy for him, unless... I could see someone like me loosing something “I lost my glasses, I guess I can go without them for now”, but not GOD especially when GOD should be a being worth worshiping “ I lost the most important Gospel out there, I told them to obey it but now it’s lost, I wonder how they will do without it”. His miracle is performed by the will of God. Even the Gospels say that Jesus is a prophet (Matthew 21:10-11, Luke 7:16--17). Have you ever considered a claim about being God? No, he didn't. The "trinity" is invented three centuries after Jesus era in order to resolve the contradictions in the Bible. The term son of God is influenced by the Greek, Roman, and Egypt pagans. Muslims teach of another Jesus. Not Jesus Christ, God the Son and the Son of God.

The amount of lies by, what I thought to be a somewhat honest man is staggering. In a nutshell, we Muslims believe in the oneness of God as opposed to a triune God. This is a concept from the council of nicea. The miracles are signs given to various prophets and messengers, namely Moses, Jonah. This is not an indication of being God. The authors of Matthew Mark Luke and John were NOT eye witnesses. Those were four chosen texts from MANY. Jesus never claimed to be God nor did he teach the concept of the Trinity. If the concept of the Trinity was true, why didn't God share that with Noah, Moses, Abraham etc? The Trinity was a later addition. The problem with Christianity is it was springboarded by that Jewish bounty hunter... A certain Saul of Tarus. The problem with Christians, especially Americans, is that they think Jesus was some white guy probably from the Midwest walking around in a desert. You people have no idea about this region of the world you have no understanding of the history of the area and you look at things through a western white perspective. Jesus probably had much more in common with someone like me than you white people in Alabama and Kansas. In terms of mannerisms, your church, your Christian culture, your church culture Your priests and choirs and music and feel good hippie stuff would be absolutely aliens him. Also, Jesus himself used to fast similarly as Muslims do, Mary dressed similarly as Muslim women do, they prayed very similarly as the Muslims prayed. A Prophet means a Messenger of God. Why Jesus is not a prophet? Because he himself said he was a messenger sent by the Father in heaven John 17:3. Why Jesus is not God? Because in the Bible, Jesus never claims and says "I am God Worship Me". Churches teachings have cheated the Christians.

So obvious that Jesus knows he is not God and wants Satan to worship the true God in heaven. If Jesus really God, then he will say "Satan worship Me".
