Inside lenox airhandler, where do you attach red wire from breaker? Yellow and black going to transformer of some kind that has smaller (possibly 24v) wires going out and feeding other circuits

I cannot stress enough how important it is to know the basics and onto the intermediate level of electrical circuits so that the new tech can at least make sense of what he or she is looking at. I will have new tech's taking the 01-10 to familiarize them with the 101 basics. Thanks for your courses and I am sure it will help. Sincerely; Mike T. Buffalo, NY

Great video. Really helped me understand how HVAC works. May I suggest that you turn your camera's auto-focusing off?

hey guy. i am a recent subscriber and i want to know if you can recommend what chapters in the 2014 NEC book i should study most as a new electrician. i have taken several classes talking about basics but i also noticed that the book is a little scattered. At least for me as a beginner. I like your electrical videos.

Question? I just replace the thermostat and also got a new unit replace. Ac works good and fan comes on but when i turn it to heat it blows the 3 amp fuse in the board panel. I check for shorts but can't find none. Everything is brand new from the unit what can it be?
@GuyBrown7 жыл бұрын
+Edgar el z short in the white wire to ground or common. Replace the thermostat wire. Best guess. Don't forget to subscribe. Thanks for watching and good luck.

thats a close on rise "cooling tstat" not a close on rise heating tstat. Heating tstat is open on rise
@jimbarron86884 жыл бұрын
His rational is wrong. As you say, it's a cooling Stat as drawn (close on rise). Bi-metal actuator symbol should be on the opposite side.

You should redo the video because of so many mistakes
