I realize your mostly talking about Basic Instinct 2,but of all the fans of Basic instinct,the first one,Sharon Stone& Michael Douglas, sorry but you two are the most unqualified.

@@popcorndigest8817 one of the guys said he hadn't even seen the first one,Basic Instinct & or that one of them had only seen the second one& maybe one of them just saw the first one or only part of it. Anyway ,that's why I said that ,but you did cover a lot & yes it was good. But I have listened to a lot of different people talk about the movie & they had seen the first one from start to end.

Sometimes we review films that the one or the other host hasn't watched before as the unfamiliarity with a series can bring a new perspective (they're looking at a sequel completely free of baggage). I'm the co-host that has seen the first Basic Instinct and I wanted to review this sequel with Andy because he wouldn't be making that hard comparison to the first film. I was curious whether he would reach the same conclusions as myself (which he did... this sequel is a hard film to like under any conditions). But hey, I'm glad you liked the episode regardless!
