Great video, well explained... my question is , I have the litchi program downloaded to my phone, but, is there anything to download to the drone itself, DJI PHANTOM 3 STANDARD, because it still has the old updates and stuff from the DJI GO program, thank you

You can indeed press the pause button and stop the mission, as long as it's in range. If the aircraft flies out of range and carries on the mission, there is no way to pause it.

Hi Surreal Skies, do I have to use data on this app in order to do the mission? and how to transfer the saved mission to android phone? I've ordered a P3S but not yet arrive but before that arrives I want to have full knowledge in managing the drone. Thanks in advance, you're one my mentors now.

Earthling01, you can do this without having cell data on your phone......it's a bit cumbersome but will work. If you're somewhere with wifi internet, you create a mission on mission hub, and download it to your phone or create it directly on your phone. Keep the Litchi app open your phone while you head over to where the mission is, and then just start the mission.

Hi Chris, the app gives you the choice of landing or simply hovering.

Hello. First, huge thanks for the Litchi tutorial. I'm trying to giggle my way through a challenge and it was helpful although not quite the solution I am looking for. I have a client that wants to document the construction of a home that is being built. We need to fly the same route (with the exact altitude and camera angle) many times over the course of the year. Is there a way to fly a flight, save it's settings (complete with camera angle and such) so that it can be recreated many times throughout the year? Again, many thanks for your help?

Hi John, the video and photo settings can be done in Litchi. I didn't mention the settings in the video, but they are there. My next video will probably be on camera settings and such as there are pretty much the same settings on Litchi as what you would get with the Go app.

What kind of communication does it use, WIFI, bluetooth or something else. I have Naza M V2 I would like to be able to use. The same FC as Phantom 2 uses.

Re waypoints in Mission Hub - I mouse click and a waypoint appears but the Waypoint Settings menu does not appear. How do I get the Waypoint Settings to appear on screen so I can adjust heading etc?

Hi Alfred, yes as far as I know all Litchi apps are not free. I know the price varies from country to country. Here in Canada is about $20 US.

Fair enough lol.. It's the first thing I did with the app, but I had picked up the app specifically for way point missions. I should probably change the name to basic Waypoints mission tutorial ;-)
