I still use Mixpro.6 and to note @ 3:57 the reason your audio started to drag is because your CPU is running hot from an overload. Where does the overload come from???..... the multiple Reverb & delay efx's you're using. I seen the 1st vid and someone suggest you use send tracks!... bro listen to me...dont be like I was or other so called producers who mix this way because its cool yet inappropriate in terms of running the cpu HOTT! this could ruin your drivers later on down the road. take a day or 2 or however long needed to teach yourself the correct way from other shared via KZbin vids. SEND, AUX & BUSES are very important to your mix. They act as the extended help to bring more clarity to your mix. The key is to set up 1 send, aux or bus track\ per category such as Reverb Delay Chorus etc... you may have as many tracks feeding signal to 1 send as opposed to 5-10 efx on each track which is WAAAY to much at once processing. Your cpu will run hot and start to static or drag or worst CRASH!!. Unless you have a super computer like high end Professional studios, your putting way to much responsibility on your pc! The BIGGEST threat to working in that manner is a possible "crash" without the ability to save your work and lose ALL YOUR HARD EARN work. A super BUZZ KILL!!!! other then that, you are doing very well. I hope this helps bro. Be consistent in your journey. Peace! ps (you may put an Eq and Comp on each thou, they require little to no cpu usage) This thy most common thing for beginning producers fail to go thru at early stages. Also get into the art of "Gain Staging" the structured way to set vol levels just before you began to mix. Your final results would be MUCH APPRECIATED!

Dude, thanks for the AWESOME comment! There is really a lot of helpful information here! Also, thank you for being so polite and constructive with your advice as well! I actually use my HP Laptop at the moment while we save up to get an actual desktop build for us. So, I know my laptop has very weak processing power, so with all the effects and stuff going on, it creates too much work and the laptop starts to break down as you've explained. Again, I thank you so much for your comment and I'd love to get in touch with you via social media and build a relationship together! You can follow us on Twitter or IG @GodMadeFamily and also find us on Facebook by searching Ro3! Again, thanks SO much, bro! God is good and hopefully, we can build a relationship together and continue to grow as audio engineers! God bless!

You can make Presents so you dont have to duplicate everything...
@iamjustrobert4 жыл бұрын
Do you mean presets? Yes, I have many presets that I’ve saved. However, duplicating everything saves A LOT of time, rather than going through individually and re-adding each plug in one by one all over again. It’s far more efficient to duplicate everything💯 but, thank you for your comment! Please, make sure to subscribe! We have lots of new content coming up!
@coldcodyofficial4 жыл бұрын
You dont have to add them all one by one if you save them and name it in a folder they will all pop up its faster than the way your doing it. Once you have everything up there hit the save preset button then once you click on it they will ALL pop up you dont have to add them one by one. But good video keep up the good work 🤘
@iamjustrobert4 жыл бұрын
Cold Cody ahhh, you’re referring to having a CHAIN of presets! Have 1 master chain preset that contains all the individual presets! Yes, I have those as well and I do utilize that ability! However, I think the difference between doing that and duplicating is mere seconds so, it’s not that big of a difference. I thought you were referring to doing it individually😂😂😂 but hey! Thank you for the comment! I really appreciate it because there could definitely be someone who reads your comment and learns about the topic we’re discussing! So, thank you for taking the time to comment as well as respond for clarification! We appreciate it, truly! Looking forward to having you subscribed and becoming an active member of our community! When it gets choppy like that I mute the tracks that aren't playing. Mixcraft will be able to process all the plugins then.
@iamjustrobert5 жыл бұрын
Yes! Exactly. I'm doing this all off my HP laptop. Once you work from a desktop with a stronger computer, you won't have that choppiness so much. But thanks for commenting! Good job on your part, it took me a while to figure out to mute everything LOL!
@Daize5045 жыл бұрын
@@iamjustrobert it took as well. i had to do research on it and found out it was the amount of plugins in the whole project. Usually making space on your hard drive would reduce the chops but youre absolutely right. A desktop with a damn sure stronger processor would read through everything with no problem. im rambling. LOL Anyways thanks for the vid. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH YOU HELPED ME OUT!!!! Real talk. im subbed and cant wait for more

U don't even have to mute them bro. Just freeze them. It allows those tracks to still play in the mix while not burning up cpu do to the effects.
