Cool tutorial I've been using mixcraft studio for the last 2 or so years. I'm 52 i wish this was around 30+ years ago. I absolutely love it. I can rip off just about any song. just like in any analog processor.. you should make a send channel and send your vocal strip there.. "what i do is i create a copy of my vocal strip and create a send channel and put the send channel as wet signal.. in that way you will have a dry and wet signal that you can easily master.."if you mix the reverb in your main vocal track you will ruin the clearness of that track simply because you cant tame the signal that undergoes to reverb.. but if you seperate it you can have a clear audio signal and a reverb signal that is controllable,.

Hey I'm just a beginner here, but I have to say that a lot of Mixcraft's presets sound great. If you are just making music for fun as a hobby, they may be able to get the job done. Of course, the next step is to go back into those settings and make note of them, then I have a sort of internal sense of what settings do what to the sound.

That's what I been doing but I'd like to add one thing but also depends on the Artist voice . I add 25% bass boost on main vocals and 10% bass boost on adlibs it also helps with vocals sounding good especially when ya listen out loud or they bump in the car after your finished. Great video.. on point .
@iamjustrobert4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the comment and feedback! Personally, I don’t like to have too many low end frequencies on my main vocals. @@lilmethazine1208 I'm sorry to hear that! It's been so long since I loaded in 3rd party VST's but I know that's where I was able to find them and upload them into Mixcraft. Perhaps there's some Google forums that can help you? I'm sorry I couldn't be more of a help with this situation! Perhaps go into the Mixcraft folder on your desktop and drag in the 3rd party VST's and then check your preferences in Mixcraft and see if they're available?

At what volume to set the microphone when I'm recording, what percentage?
@iamjustrobert4 жыл бұрын
Angel Official that’s the gain of your microphone. You never want anything distorted so, the amount of gain should be determined by multiple things. Distance from your mouth to the microphone, quality of microphone, sound treatment in the room you’re recording in, pop filters etc. So, there’s no real ideal percentage you want your gain to be at. Everything recording environment is different so, you need to experiment and test out everything.

Hey buddy you think you can give me a suggestion on what setting could be making my audio playback in slow motion.! After recording audio vocals the playback is slow.! Tried all I know uninstalling reinstalling changing time stretch.! Also reached out to support
@iamjustrobert5 жыл бұрын
I’m a little confused with what you mean but making your audio playback in slow motion? Are you meaning you want your music chopped and screwed or what do you mean?
@chrishoppersoberlife64725 жыл бұрын
No, when u record my audio track it plays back in slow motion or screwed.!i know it’s probably a setting but I can not get a clean playback
@iamjustrobert5 жыл бұрын
It may have to do with your latency in your preferences on Mixcraft. If your latency is high (20+ ms) then it’s going to be quite delayed during playback. If it’s not your latency, then there are a few other options we could view. Perhaps it’s your BPM or if you click ‘Audio’ you’ll see the timing that you’re able to adjust. However, those are all post recording adjustments. If it’s happening from recording your audio, it makes me think it’s either the mic/interface you’re using and the latency involved with the recording process. I hope this helps out! Wow i love the way how you talk. Literally I came here because I'm feeling discouraged because I couldn't get mix my vocals to the sound I'm eyeing for. I even literally asked some audio engineers/producers to mix and master for me but I backed out when I found out that it's gonna cost me a lot. I'll try applying this to my vocal track! By the way, do you know a way to reduce the noise of crickets in the vocal tracks? Whenever I noise reduce, my vocals get chopped off into little bits where the crickets were creaking. And it would sort of sound muddy. I don't really have my own room in the house so :
