@@iamjustrobert It gets annoying. Half the time I have to export separate tracks because no matter what I do it either mixes down without the effects on or it glitches out and makes a loud sound at the start of the track or glitches at the spot I use the effect in. You have to literally fight it sometimes. I wasn't sure if I was the only one having these issues. I thought maybe it was because I was using VST3 but idk.

Sameer Chhetri you’ll need to check your microphone and interface settings first and foremost. Second, you’ll have to get a noise reduction plug-in. Mixcraft comes with a noise reduction tool built in the audio settings, but it’s not very effective when it comes to vocals. Therefore, look into purchasing a de-noise or sound reduction plug-in that will help cancel out that noise. Thank you for your question! @@iamjustrobert I use my Laptop's mic...and I don't have interface 😔 Low budget recording 😁 Without using any plug ins and other..How can I reduce ???💓💓
@iamjustrobert4 жыл бұрын
Well, that’s definitely the reason why you’re receiving all that noise. Laptop microphones are not meant for recording anything but your voice when doing webcam videos and even then, you normally want a separate mic to pick up your audio. The only way you can reduce noise is by going to the audio tab on the audio track that has the noise and use Mixcrafts built in noise reduction tool. If you can find it, go to the “Help” tab on Mixcraft, and fine the manual. From there, search “Noise Reduction” and it’ll show you where it is. If you’re serious about recording music, definitely save money to invest in at least a standard, low budget USB microphone and you’ll have insanely better quality then you do with your laptop microphone.

Bro just make a template and save it. Then post a download link.
@iamjustrobert2 жыл бұрын
Templates really depend upon whether not folks have the same plug-ins. This tutorial is older and therefore, I use other plug-ins that I’ve either purchased or downloaded myself. So, while providing a download link for a template would be nice, I’m not sure who has what plug-ins.

@MrQuality894 жыл бұрын
Bro how you make a tutorial with the music peaking the entire time 🤦🏽♂️
@iamjustrobert4 жыл бұрын
QUAALITY just because the fader is “peaking” doesn’t mean there’s distortion in the audio. Peaking is different than distortion. Unless you hear distorted audio, the peaking simply means your audio it’s hitting the highest volume possible. That doesn’t mean it’s distorted by any means. I’ve had music I’ve engineered for people that stay in the green areas on the faders, and their audio in heavily distorted. It’s all about apply the limiters to the audio tracks correctly as well as having the proper recording process for the audio files. If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know! Thank you for the comment.
@MrQuality894 жыл бұрын
Never said it was distorted, you said that 🤷🏽♂️ but coming from someone with a degree. I know a lot more than you, peaking means it’s too loud, you can’t give People a tutorial if you don’t know what you’re doing. Number 1 you led people the wrong way. Number 2 you’re not a professional. If you want to help people stop giving them false information on mixing and mastering, you don’t even have analog gear, just a software and interface. And don’t be delusional, I never showed any love or support. But good day.

We gotta stop these fake tutorial videos with ppl saying copy and paste that is not helping nobody if your not explaining nothing. Just because your settings work for u and your mic and your voice doesn’t mean it’ll work on for anyone else’s mic or voice or their song.
@iamjustrobert4 жыл бұрын
That is a great point! However, to say my work is “fake” is a little far stretched. I’ve worked with MANY different microphones within Mixcraft over the past 12 years. Whether it be $400 microphones with a $200 interface or a PS4 headset (yes, I’ve engineered music for someone who recorded using that😂) the settings I share definitely help individuals and most certainly give them a great starting point! If you still disagree, it would be awesome for you to share your music and your engineering skills! Or even if you want to further prove your claim, go ahead and make a song, use the presets I’ve shared and we’ll be able to see if the song sounds anymore professional than before👍🏽 nevertheless, thank you for taking the time to watch the entire tutorial and sharing your thoughts in our comments! I appreciate it, truly! Any type of criticism is always positive to me because it helps me grow! Thank you and God bless!

@@iamjustrobert Facts bro, I record from phone for fun and I used your tutorials to make it sound decent, it really helped. It also inspired me to start making my own experiments, I'm still kinda bad with the EQ fixing the bands and stuff but I learned a lot, I'm much more oriented and creative when I want to clear up the vocals. Thanks for the tutorial. Was wondering what you think about vocal stacking? I'm really bad at the theory stuff, I think another word for that is dubbing. Maybe you could show a basic way for newbies to record with this technique
@iamjustrobert4 жыл бұрын
Ayyye! Thank you for the AWESOME comment! Forsure! I’d absolutely love to create a video sharing the recording process for dubbing your vocals! Personally, I feel like it all depends on the song. Not every song needs dubbing on your vocals/chorus. Actually, there’s even effects in Mixcraft you can use that will allow your voice to sound dubbed without actually dubbing it🤯 but again, thank you for the awesome comment! I’m sure you’re already subscribed but if you’re not, please make sure to subscribe! Thank you and God bless!

why is the tracks normalized?
@iamjustrobert2 жыл бұрын
Most likely because I recorded these vocals way too low, so I decided to click “normalize” which brings up the vocals to a healthier level. This video is fairly old so, there’s been MANY updates and new ways that I engineer!

Normally though My content may be explicit but I pride myself on not cussing.

@@ajpollock1991 thank you for sharing! Keep pushing forward! I truly enjoy music that doesn’t have any profanity due to the artist needing to have an expanded vocabulary to express what they’re feeling. Topics are the same way. There’s rugged topics that could be discussed, but as an artist you should be able to discuss them in a respectful manner. Again, thank you for sharing! We appreciate you!
