Very interesting, this is what I was looking for. I didn’t understand a couple of things though. First, when using center weighted/spot metering expos modes, where does the camera take the measure? In the focus square/cross, or maybe at the centre of the screen? Second, the histograms are segmented with three vertical line, two lateral and one in the center. The center line represents mid tones, but what the two lateral lines mean? Perhaps +/- 2 EV? Thanks Graham and cheers!

I always take notes when watching your videos but this got very technical for me and I was wondering how much of the technical knowledge was necessary. Since watching your videos on the FZ82 I have been using manual mode and determining correct exposure from the light meter on the camera generally using whole area exposure. I'm very new to using histograms as well so need to study this more. Still it's a good challenge to understand these concepts better :)

Good morning, Mr. Houghton, I have a recent problem with my FZ200, the inside of the viewfinder is opaque (I live in the tropics), it can be disassembled to clean the internal glass or the assembly has to be changed (part #: DH1899). Thanks for your help. Regards REPLY
