good video, had me thinking and C & D From Beyond is absolutely full of tobaccos with a regional name sakes: Red “Virginia” “Canadian” flue-cured leaf, Turkish Izmir, Greek Basma, Latakia and St. James Perique lol😅

I recommend perique rich blends for people coming from cigarettes, otherwise Carter Hall or Captain Black Gold

@@edwardhobbs5741 how about considering when you’re doing other videos to do a Tobacco minute or something like that. You could make it a special feature in each video. Just a thought. It could be longer than a minute, but just a short informative piece? Or you could just call it Tobacco time and make it five minutes or something like that? I would like to continue learning.☺️

I had no idea there were so many varieties of Orientals. That's insane. What would you say are the benefits or characteristics of rope tobacco?

@@TheNovicePiper I thank you 😊. The variety of Oriental tobaccos is enormous. Rope tobacco is rich in flavor. It'll keep good outside of jarring better than the finer cuts of tobacco. If I remember, making tobacco in ropes was mainly for preservation. It didn't dry out as quickly.
