@@joshuvuh8118no you don’t wear a cup. If someone tried to bite your sac your squeeze and pop is teeth out of his mouth

I always forget to pivot to lock in the choke which gives them the opportunity to stack up and get out. Good video

When I hold the wrist even with my holding hand fully extended to make as much distance as possible, when I try to get my leg out, no matter how I turn or maneuver, my right leg doesn’t have the space to escape and get into position for the triangle. Is it possible this just can’t work for people with too short of arms relative to the length of their legs? Or am I doing it wrong?

Try bringing your knee to your chest as much as you can, aim your foot to pass through right at the bend of the elbow where there's more space. If you are still having trouble then try to shove his hand in between your legs instead.

@@MMALeech my knee is all the way up, thigh fully against my body, and my arms just aren’t long enough to hold their hand away for my leg to get through no matter how I seem to turn. What do you mean by doing something with their hand instead?

I thought the leg coming up on the arm goes over or else they can just posture up and break the position🤔

Watching this, I see how I've been falling into a triangle with a guy who gets the same set up on me. When he opens his guard like that, I'm so tempted to push down that bottom leg (to maybe force half guard) that I now see that I'm repeatedly inches away from a triangle trap. I hadn't really thought about it until now because I have a good triangle escape and the issue faded away the few times he's done it to me - dumb I know. Now I'm going address this somehow, by maybe standing or boxing the hips???
