The pace, the vibe, the constantly, unending repetitious flow of the vocals like a matra ... this is a HYPNOTIC song, and BY FAR one of their best put-together tracks ever. I especially love that we've got Mike and Chester SHARING EQUAL EXPOSURE on the vocals, which is really how it should be, and it's a shame they didn't do more songs like this. This really is RIGHT UP THERE for me when it comes to LP ...

I completely agree. Although Mike is a master at laying down rhymes and things like that he really shines as an actual singer as well. And this is one of the few times where this is pointed out.

The Catalyst is even more impressive when you heard the whole A Thousand Suns Album before. The whole album builds up to The Catalyst and should be listened to in one sitting.

Agreed. Their later albums starting with Minutes to midnight are pieces of art taken as a whole. Thousand Sun's follows, thematically, and the whole album is a work of art taken from start to finish.

When it comes to production this is an absolute masterpiece of mike, throwing so many different instruments together and make it sound good is incredible, although the whole album is like this, i mean „when they come for me“ is crazy „blackout“ and „wretches and kings“ as well as „waiting for the end“, definitely a really underrated album

The A Thousand Suns album is my third favourite LP abum. Though not as impactful as the Hybrid theory and Meteora. It's really a great album. This song which is a chart topping favourite is in my playlist

Great video! This is easily one of my favorite songs from them. The music video for the song is really cool but the only problem is that some parts are shortened compared to the album song. I recommend you listen to the album A Thousand Suns which leads up to this song. Also I highly recommend you listen to Waiting for the end which came out on the same album and it's a phenomenal song.

Ellie rose, please take a listen or a few from Chester's first band, Grey Daze. They have a new album that released this past June. The title of this Album is The Phoenix. It's a Wonderful listen from the first track to the last track. Not one bad song. I have not stopped listening since my pre order arrived! Brings back wonderful memories from the 90's . Chester's vocals are as beautiful and powerful as always! I think that you would really enjoy.
