As a long time viewer, it makes me so happy to see that you have grown so much and have finally found systems that work for you to manage your mental health!! It also gives me hope that I am able to manage my own life a little better by following some of your advice. I'm so proud of you! Having my 4 cats and boyfriend gives me a purpose to better myself. I love my little family and I love supporting them in any way I can. I think it's my turn to lean on them a little more and find ways to heal. Thank you for sharing your story with us 🥰

As someone who grew up watching lifestyle videos, I always felt discouraged and overwhelmed because they were unrealistic for me (due to disability, mental health, and the resulting fatigue). I really appreciate you being so open and honest, especially about your mental health. It’s refreshing to see videos I can actually relate to and with realistic advice and day-to-day routines. Also fellow PMDD girl here, they really need to teach us more about this kind of thing in school!! I had no idea what it was when I was first diagnosed, but treating it (and just being aware of it) has made such a huge difference in my life.

I love this format of filming, and I totally understand how having a pet can save your life. My dog, Leonard, is my entire world and I would be dead without him. He gives me a reason to keep breathing every single day. I also love the idea of writing everything you did down instead of what needs to be done and I think I might try that. Thank you Reese

Omg the hair part, I totally feel that 🥺 On days when I'm super depressed and don't feel like getting ready I just put my hair in a high bun, wash my face, no make up, and enjoy a walk that generelly makes me feel a little better. We deserve to enjoy small things even on our worst days ❤️

Hiii! Something that makes me feel happier and healthier is my twist on journaling! Something I learned in therapy is that I SUCK at journaling. BUT I make a crap ton of lists all the time. So I journal in the form of list making. I also love to clean and organize and bake, specifically bread. Thank you for making such relatable and amazing content! It’s not easy sharing your life with the world, I’m sure. You’re wonderful and I adore you!
@roxalanab1365 Жыл бұрын
Hi :) What do you mean by "journal in the form of list making", can you elaborate on that? xoxo
@Namesasheck Жыл бұрын
@@roxalanab1365 yeah! So I usually keep all my lists in one book because it’s just a great way to keep all those racing thoughts together! For example, instead of writing out in paragraphs why I’m anxious, annoyed, upset, etc. I title the list “things that annoyed me today” and then I list those things. Sometimes I find certain things come out that I wasn’t expecting or didn’t think annoyed me. Another example, I title the list “why am I so angry right now” and then I list all the reasons I can think of and in turn I end up finding out things I wasn’t aware that I was angry about. In conjunction with those kinds of lists, I also write counter lists to the negative ones. “How can I let go of this anger” or better yet “what can I do right now to help me feel better?” “What’s something that used to work in the past to help with my anxiety?” I’ve found that writing lists like this with 1) the negative thoughts and then 2) the positive actions I can take, has helped me understand what i deal with on a day to day basis and that helps me in the overall process! I hope this made sense! 😅

I had really painful periods, hormonal acne, and significant increase in depression/suicidal thoughts around my period. My doctor recommended balancing the testosterone in my body as the signs told us that is what I had in excess. I took a supplement with extracts of cruciferous vegetables and it really helped my symptoms, without using birth control. You can also focus on eating certain foods rather than taking a supplement like Reese talked about in this video. For me that would be cruciferous veggies like broccoli, Brussels sprouts,cauliflower etc

Reese! Thank you for destigmatizing mental health and taking medication if you need it. One mindful habit that I've adopted over the years is to pick a tree or plant that I see often and each time I see it, I observe how it has changed since the last time I saw it. Paying attention to the changing seasons helps me feel more connected to the earth and the 🌟passing of time 🌟rather than being stuck in my head. Love your content and can't wait to see more!! 💗💗

I’ve been doing reverse to-do lists for the last 11 years and growing up, my mom always got SO mad as me because she thought I wasn’t holding myself accountable for what needed to be done. However, doing that always made me get WAY more done than having a regular to do list and I always felt such a larger sense of accomplishment. I love this, I had no clue other people did it!
