@@alexgorham7464 Typically a financial adviser will just put you into standard/tried and true products that are mostly just index funds and ETFs. This has been a down year to invest. If I were you I'd be investing broadly into the S&P 500 and broader index funds, that way you're instantly diversified and you don't have to worry about it too much. Over time, your investment shall grow, just don't get too focused on the short-term.

Hi Rachna. Wanted to tell you something, I hope you read this comment. I’m an Editor by profession and my husband is a Chartered Accountant. I never had any idea about the technical terms people use these days. And getting married to a CA was all-the-more complicated because we could not discuss our profession. Even though I’m not from commerce background, I really wanted to learn about stock markets, how they work, do I need to have some strong background to learn it, and many more questions. I looked on KZbin for some basic course on trading and that’s how I came across your course. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving your everything when you teach your students.
