The 10th Gate is talking about the Chakras. When the energy goes up the spine because you have cleared the path by dissolving the ego, the energy will reach the chakra in the head (Sahasrara ). You'll then see the 1000 petal lotus open up.

PLEASE READ THIS JUGRAJ JI BECAUSE I REALLY WANT SOME HELP! I'm 15 years old and currently living in the U.S.A. I wanted to know that can i still achieve salvation even if my dasam dwar doesn't open? I ask this because it's been a bit more than a week, since I've started meditating twice a day and also started listening to the 5 baanis. Before I came across your channel i used to cuss, watch pornography, and cut my hair. Now I've decided that I am not going to cut my hair or cut the middle of my monobrow ( which will make me look ugly, but who cares!) and one day when i'm ready I'll take Amrit, but I'm scared that kids at my school will call me a terrorist and all the other racial stuff because the kids here are ignorant! So, I just wanted to know that, will the Gurus forgive me? Can I achieve salvation without my dasam dwar opening,even if I meditate, listen to my paath regularly, take Amrit and do selfless seva? I really feel bad about ALL the bad things I did in my life and I don't want to repeat the same mistakes again.

Brother I consider myself nowhere close to salvation but will try to answer. I have a good new and may be a bad news. The may be bad news is that it may take a long time but good news is it will happen for sure as long as you stay on path. Less you deviate from path, faster it will be. I believe that all of us are destined to join Wahegur Ji. Worse case is joining Waheguru ji when this universe is destroyed but by following Guru's path it will be much shorter. When I get questions such as yours, I remember last podi of Japji Sahib. Here is the translation. Let Continence be the Forge, Patience the Goldsmith, understanding the anvil and Divine Knowledge the hammer. Let Waheguruji's fear be your bellows, and Austerities the heat and fire, Let Loving Devotion to Waheguruji be the Crucible and Melt Waheguruji Name there in. In such a true mint the word the Divine Name is coined. Such is the practice of those on whom Waheguruji casts a Gracious Glance. Nanak, By the Grace of the Kind one,Waheguruji's Glance Grants them Bliss. Other then that. Do not wish for salvation or materialistic stuff. Only ask for the love for Waheguru Ji. 5th Guru ji says Raj na chaho mukat na chaho man preet charan kamlare (I do not seek power. i do not seek liberation. My mind is in love with your lotus feet) and 10th Nanak ji further added Sach kaon sun laho sabhe jin preem kio tin hi prab paio (All should listen to this truth that only those who love God can realize him) Gur Fateh

hey elder, i grew up iun a non sikh/punjabi household so similar situation to urself, used to do bad stuff on internet eat meat, cut hair etc, from what daas has learnt from sangat opening dassam duar isnt the hardest thing its keeping it open, which realistically you need to have a relationship with the guru so that is something that happens after you r amritdhari. its not about achieving salvation its about lossing your ego losing urself to the guru falling in love with waheguru. Find a congregation of people who meditaite on gods naam preferably amritdhari, pray for that, ur eventually going to have to give up meat and eggs, dont be like me and put off becoming amritdhari for a year because u think you don't have to be vegetarian. message me if u have any questions

Prabhsimran Singh Dasam Duar, what does it mean by it opening? need some explanation
@prabhsimransingh307410 жыл бұрын
probably read anhad dassam duar by bhai randhir singh in english but it refers to after taking amrit being able to just leave ones body and go to sachkhand through dassam duar. you need to jaap alot of naam for this to happen, and maintain rehit, kesri basanti dastaar at all times, as well.

bhajji if you keep reading bani, going for darshan of sadh sangat and Guru Granth Sahib, listening kirtan you will want to keep your kesh by yourself, and you will want to stop your bad habits, because you aren't in control anymore, the hokum of Guru's kirpa will override your own programming for what life is. you'll understand that the haumai inside is so polluted, that following the hukum is the best thing you can do for yourself, and these smaller problems become very very misucule compared to the disease of haumai that must be cured. Mukti is the by-product of destruction of haumai, mukti is not the goal, the destruction of haumai and learning to always accept the Hukum of Akal is the main goal. Look at Guru Gobind Singh, he has all the power in the universe to have stopped the Mughals, and not sacrifice even a single drop of blood from his family, but it was Akal's hukum that his entire family be martyred: his dad, his mom, all 4 of his sons killed in their prime. And Guru Sahib smiled, because Guru Ji knows that following hukum is the most important and sweetest thing in existence.

Dasam Dwaar is not the end, It is where your test starts. If you achieve dasam dwaar you will get superpowers and all the money you want. But then it’s the test starts, to see weather you will give up or continue yearning for GOD. People have fallen down from dasam dwaar, So it’s not the end, It’s where you get tested.

Hello basics of sikhi! You guys are great!! But I have a question? What does sikhi say about having sex before marriage? Is it okay to have sex before marriage? I would like to know why the gurus say about it? Bec I believe that having sex with women before marriage is okay, not like going around have sex with 100s but with a few. Sex is kind of a way to experience life in a sense in a good way though. It's human nature to have sex. So please it would be greatly appreciated if you guys can make a video about this topic. Please and thank you! Keep up the good work!!

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh, The answer to your question can be found @42:00. You are talking about "kaam", this is "bad sangat". You are not connecting to Akaal Purakh, so your desires are bad. In Japji Sahib you can read: chang-aa-ee-aa buri-aa-ee-aa vaachai Dharam hadoor. karmee aapo aapnee kay nayrhai kay door (good deeds and bad deeds-the record is read out in the Presence of the Lord of Dharma. According to their own actions, some are drawn closer, and some are driven farther away.) You are separating yourself from Waheguru by acting on these feelings of kaam. I hope this answered your question a bit. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.

for a sikh every woman is his sister, mother, or daughter depending on age. it's a hukum, except your one wife of course. you have to think of women as a form of God himself, what if God, the One, took the form of a beatiful woman, would you bow to Him as you do in the Gurdwara Sahib, or will you lust over God's body. get the point, women are a form of God too, so when you look at them with eyes of lust, it offends God and the Guru very much, because you have perverted His very form and creation. trust me Guru Gobind Singh HATES it

no one has understood real meaning of meditation. I mean now days people close there eyes and say they are meditating on god . we god is omnipresent now how in the world without seeing god any one can meditate on him . So how can we meditate on god the answer is earning money with honesty satisfaction control on anger lust ego etc donating for good this real meditation on god not just closing eyes.
