Loved this movie as a child in the 60’s. So did my siblings. Just like Sinbad, Jason and the Argonauts and many others. I feel it is supposed to be silly fun and great for us still kids at heart ❤

This movie is part of ny childhood. I watch it a second time as an adult. Beautiful theme in overture. It's like a fairy tale with a beautiful story, an epic adventure and a nice conclusion. The Magic Sword should be released in DVD and in Blu-Ray. A memorable and unforgettable motion picture.

Have watched this movie 4 times, simply in posthumous respect for the great Basil Rathbone, who lifted the film from being truly awful. Admittedly, it remains awful, but not 'truly' 😊 As with Vincent Price, Lon Cheney, Bela & Peter, & the faded stars that first saw us thru the Depression (& then the War) - thank you for great performances in the twilight years of your careers, often taking one for the team in elevating stinkers like this :) R.I.P., well done & well appreciated.

I started watching simply because I saw Basil Rathbone's name, but after 5 minutes - oh, dear! It's so bad I don't know if I can last the distance until he appears.

The dialogue is terrible, the acting is worse, the action is nonexistent, the direction was horrific. All in all I would have to admit this was one film that should never been made. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Sorry, I don't agree. It's an excellent movie of fantastic adventures with a beautiful story, an excellent tale, and a nice ending. Special effects are still very good. I respect your opinion, but I don't agree with what you wrote. The Magic Sword is still a very good motion picture today.
