The question you asked about what they were doing... Its called a scrum. They scrum/push forward using brute force. We have super strong forwards/scrum players. You are not allowed to lose the ball forward when you are in possession so all the passes you see, they have to pass out backwards. Unless you kick the ball then you can pass forward like you saw a few times. The players have to touch the ball down in the goal area which gives them 5 points. Then you get a conversion which gives you an extra 2 points if you kick the ball in between the posts. The players can also opt to drop kick the ball from anywhere in the field which gives you 3 points but you dont see that very often. Eben Etzebeth is called our enforcer and he went to the same school as I did so we lived more or less in the same area. Brutal guy! 2.03 meters tall and 117kg of pure muscle! He is often in most of the fights and always laughs at his opponents. He is the guy you saw at the beginning of the video, man handling that Ausie!

that group huddle is called a scrum. We use it to gain ground towards the opposition team area closer to the try line. Team strength matters.

First friendly tip for rugby in terms of numbers. The number on the back does not belong to a player, the number belongs to the position. 15 players each side 1 & 3 - Props (heaviest guys) 2 - Hooker (Work horse) 4 & 5 - Locks (tallest players) 6 & 7 - Flankers (best tacklers) 8 - Eighthman (Hard Ball carrier) 9 - scrumhalf (shortest player/best passer) 10 - Flyhalf (best kicker/General of attack) 12&13 - Centres (gifted) 11&14 - Wingers (speed demons) 15 - Fullback (last line of defence)

@@KotaReacts24 Thank you. Yeah, he is one of the best. There are a LOT of Springbok players who are absolutely incredible players, but Cheslin is still my favorite. Other players you should check out sometime are, in no particular order, Kurt-Lee Arendse (a lot of people mistake him for Cheslin Kolbe. They play the same position and both wear scrum caps), Canan Moodie , Handre Pollard, Manie Libbok (His no look kick was amazeballs), Grant Williams Faf de Klerk (another small guy, but he's known as the giant slayer), Siya Kolisi (In my humble opinion, the best Captain in the history of rugby), Makazole Mapimpi (you should check out his back story. So sad, yet so inspiring), and Eben Etzebeth (The Enforcer). Since we are talking about Enforcers, you should check out the original Enforcer, Bakkies Botha. Hi! Well Die Hard Rugby has got videos on Even Etzebeth, the greatest rugby enforcer of all time, Cheslin Kolbe, the best athlete in the world, Kurt Lee Arendse (those are the two guys you noticed with the caps and said you don't know if it's the same guy 😂), there's also Lukhanyo Am and Makazole Mapimpi and of course our captain Siya Kolisi. There's a documentary Chasing the Sun which is very moving and includes the director of Springbok rugby Rassie 😢 crying he's so emotional. Fun videos to watch is South African schoolboy rugby, there you will see why we are World champions. We start early. And Top South African schools war cries that's done before schools play against each other, it FIRES the teams up. Many many videos. American reactors Ive followed from their first reaction and didn't have a clue what's going on, now are complete rugby addicts 😂
