I just started fishing all the public ponds in Flower Mound. 2 down, 8 to go. Trying to catch at least one fish from every public pond in DFW.

I drove by there on Labor Day, too, saw all the people, and went to the "other spot." That Lews LFS is one of my favorites at that price, along with the SLX. It is hard to be that one-piece aluminum frame for sub-$100. See you out there!

​@@thesouthwes Yeah, I heard the same. :( I have been mainly fly fishing or ultralight at the ponds. The Bream are recovering better than the bass, from what I can tell. I wanted to give the bass a break after all that.

We fish smallmouth on the snake river and after a cold front I better take a magazine because they don’t like the barometer messing around. Going tomorrow after Labor Day probably won’t get a great bite either. But have some new spinner bait a jackal a 6th , and a nice shimano. Trying a shinano curado dc for the first time also

Im loving the Tatula! It’s pretty much up there with my non DC shimano reels. It kinda comes down to what I’m throwing. Tatula has been rigged up on a 10ft diving crankbait setup lately so I haven’t used it in the ponds 😂. Thanks for the support!
