Man I can’t stress enough how much I love the Megabass TS Destroyer line! I own the Black Jack, Casino and the Poker what an amazing ridiculously tuff and beastly line of rods!
@matthewanderson1716 ай бұрын
What do you use the casino instead of blackjack?
@The_Bass_Stunters6 ай бұрын
The casino has a more parabolic bend than the Balck Jack. I actually use the Casino for big treble hook baits like the Megabass Big M7.5 and so on. Plus it’s a little shorter than the Black Jack. The Black Jacks rating is way off! It easily handles glide baits up to 7oz no problem!! There similar but the blackjack has more of fast action but it does bend well into the blank also not a broom stick by any means!

I own multiple in casting and spinning and even my MedLT 7’0 Tatula XT-$100… has more strength and sensitivity than some more expensive Abu Garcia and St croixs that I own. The Tatula XT needs to be talked about- with a Daiwa Regal 2500D-XH B (the new one) (also the original is phenomenal) under $200 COMBO and my favorite rod by FAR

I own two black jacks, and it has been my favorite swimbait rod for years. It’s rated to 4oz, but that’s a lie and it can go well above that. It’s excellent for 5-6oz baits. The poker has caught my eye for a while, as I’m still on the search for the ultimate frog rod.

With BFS growing so much I wish we could get a rod series like the “Zero Gravity” rods from Mitchell. I know even on the spinning versions you could throw anything from1/64 oz to 1/2 baits in the same rod due to the super thing tip that would load. I also with we had these for the ability to see super light bites because that SUL tip would load as easily as a human hair.

Love to see you fishin the TS Destroyer. I love the Black Jack. Works great for deep crankin for Striper and for larger glides and Swimbaits. I want that Twin Power for my P5 Destroyer Windbuster.

Just got back from Ontario and I probably boated 200 smallmouth over the week along with a 31” walleye and a surprise 38” pike on the 2000 size. I was really surprised with how well it fished, the drag was really impressive to me on those bigger fish cuz I was using 6lb fluro leaders. Also got a 4000 size for my dad for pike fishing cuz he doesn’t know how to use a bait caster, and he had no issues. You guys should give one a try, I’d love to hear what you think. Here’s the probably I’m having with the 26s. You put those on the 110 jr and all the bait wants to do is float..
@richardbossman98756 ай бұрын
You can add a minute amount of weight easily, I use Storm suspend strips and trim them down to slivers to help balance my 110’s to perfectly suspend at different water temps( and I mean perfect, mine will sit at the same depth for over a minute). You can always use a heavier gauge wire hook or even larger size of split ring to finely balance jerkbaits without adding stock on weights.

@Tbowie136 ай бұрын
Have you ever considered the AFTCO Jason Christy shirts? My neck isn't huge, but it's far from small, and I can't stand a tight thing around my neck, especially when it's hot. That Jason Christy shirt works as a shirt and gaitor, but Jason said he couldn't stand the feel of a gaitor so he had em design his shirt. It's a great option. And the zip in the front loosens the shirt alot if you're not worried about sun. It also has a catch on the hood, for the bill of your hat. It keeps the hood in place when you're up on pad runnin across the lake. Saw your comment and figured it might be a really good option for ya.
