Bass Fishing RGV Canals

I used to live next to that second bridge you hit up! There's lots of bass down on the sketchy side! The side you can walk on with no problems has alot of rebar on the bottom from the old bridge pilings back in the 80s! I used to live in front of the storage place! I'm from Palmview so I may run into you one day! Great videos! 💪🤠🎣

Really i didn't know about the rebar. That explains why i got cut off once i though maybe it was glass 😂. And definitely im always up and down this cannals lol

@@laketogulffishing yeah There's a spot just south of there,on the storage side halfway down the storages there a dumpster in the storage facility kinda in that area along the canal my old neighbor and I carved out a spot right at the bend of the canal there's a thin patch of bamboo there! It holds gar,tilapia,carp,and a ton of bass! We used to go night fishing and in the summer we would get huge 8lb catfish and had a few gar runs! We would catch bluegills under the bridge where there is a cement round sticking out of the ground right about where you were casting from! We would use worms for the bluegills,and head out at night! I personally caught some monster cats out there! If you can find that spot I'm talking about evening and mornings seem to produce the bass bite!

Nice! Ill try it next time. I want to try and fish with live bluegill and see if i can make a big bass bite so i might drift around there if i find it. Thanks for the heads up 🤙
