Here are some fishing tips to catch more bass on bank fishing rigs! Today I am fishing for bass from the bank with a wacky rig. I hook into my first fish on the second cast. As I try to get it to the bank, it ops off. Shortly after that I hook into another bass, this one is larger. But it also comes off right at the bank! After losing two fish, I decide to change my hook. Realistic Fishing Tip: Change to a larger hook on your wacky rig if you are missing fish. After I do that, I finally hook, and land a beautiful largemouth bass. #fishing #realistic

I tried the wacky rig with a berkley powerbait general, love the wobbling action, but I think it could use more salt to sink slightly faster. Didn't know they made the general in powerbait, nor in a green pumpkin/ black and blue laminate. Great color, great bait.

Love the wacky rig. I mostly fish unweighted Texas rigged Yum Dingers though. I mainly fish creeks and Wacky stays hung up in my creeks a lot. When i get the chance though I swap to wacky.

I like to fish a wacky rig on top of weeds too. Something like an Eagle Claw weedless hook with the snap closed works well to keep the weeds off. 👍

17 will work well in weeds. I use 12 mono on mine because thats what I am used to.
