wonder why everyone has such animosity for poor skeet reese!!! He's actually a real cool dude, and a great fisherman.

hey i totally agree, i have tons of fun catching bass on light spinning gear with 6lb test, but i also love throwing a jig or a Texas rig in a huge mound of weeds pulling out 6 lbs of bass and another pound of weeds and grass not having to worry about a break off or a snag, HUGE bass lurk in the junkyard as i like to call it and if youve got the gear to handle the weeds and keep the bass from breaking you off on a tree, then you will have a very successful day

Why does everyone always argue on these fishing videos? Make a comment with feedback about his technique or something along those lines. If your not gonna do that then dont read the comments just to find someone to argue with.

hey, i have a question, so i fish at a lake where u could see the basses inside the water, everytime i cast something in there, they'll stare at it then just swim away, i tried gulp, buzzbaits, jigs, spinnerbaits, frog, worms, leeches, and they won't take anything. wat do u suggest i do?
@sctwildcat15 жыл бұрын
i fish off a dock on the tennessee river and there are bream beds there like crazy. there are lots of minnows, which bring bass in, just not monsters. what would be a good lure to use. ( water is about 2-8 feet deep )
@justplainrandom9614 жыл бұрын
ill catch a bass like that any day

A tournameht that limited each fisherman to 2 rods each would be more sporting and interedting but the machine is set up and designed to sell you multiple rods...

@MrJonnyboy989 Rapala makes good lures. I have never used Xraps but I know they are really popular. Maybe the ones u got were duds. But what I know for sure is that Rapala DOES make some really good lures and you shouldn't just switch to another company entirely because you had a few duds from Rapala. maybe try something besides xraps idk all i know is the husky jerk, floating rapala, those are good.........can't go wrong with those =)

Most of the professionals use berkley trilene 100% fluorocarbon, but aaron martens the best drop shotter uses sunline fc sniper or shooter.

Most bass fishermen use heavy equipment now a days
@daft_wizard12 жыл бұрын
Of course they do. Of course when they're tournament fisherman, they do. But real fisherman don't need 20 lb line to bring in a largemouth bass. That takes the sport out of it.

I just don't see why you need 12 lb test for a fish that's not even 2 lbs. I fish for bass and pike with 4 lb mono. Get over 90% of my fish in.
@daft_wizard12 жыл бұрын
I frickin hate skeet reese. I don't know why. I guess I just don't think you need 20 different rods, and 20 lb line to catch a 2 lb fish. If he was SO good, why does he have to use that heavy equipment. Real fisherman can catch bass with an ultralight rod and 4 lb test.
