Thanks so much! I bet there's some great bass in South Africa!!? Please feel free to click "Uploads" on my channel and watch some of the recent videos I've posted for more content. The fish are much bigger in some of them :) Thanks again for watching and commenting

I fish there every week all year basically. We got some pretty nice ones. there are some Giants there the biggest I’ve got from Webster is almost a 7 lb bass

My friend Jakub caught a 6lb 5oz Largie using my Bruce Gillis wooden wake bait when we were there night fishing last year. The place is just loaded with quality fish of all kinds of species. And it's amazing how well it produces when you consider how HARD it gets hit!!

Hey Kris. Great day fishing! New Years Eve cought a 2.2lb smallmouth which I believe is 2lbs 4oz? My pb. In the river that is at bottom of street, about 60yds before waterfall. Didn't know we're in there lol. Checked online they are obviously lol. Was on grandfathers jerkbait, it's shorter than new ones. Miss my old scale that said lbs and ozs. Great thing about river is doesn't freeze on most of it. Great video. Hope can find a way for night videos. That's when I break out the rat. I believe you did some night videos if I'm not mistaken? Ty tc
@MrTightLines3 жыл бұрын
Thanks and grats on your New Years smallie! I don't record at night but Todd has a bit. It's really tricky. That's why I don't add much content as I'm mostly fishing at night.

@@MrTightLines would be nice huh. Idk how headlamps would affect camera? I use one but shore fishing and no camera. Tried taking pic with phone but doesn't work. And with headlamp makes it worse lol. Guess light would have to be farther away which would defeat purpose. Too bad. Ty tc
@MrTightLines3 жыл бұрын
@@ronaldyeater3322 the headlamp dramatically reduces the Bass bite! So it’s destroyed right off.
@ronaldyeater33223 жыл бұрын
@@MrTightLines yea that's what I meant. I use mine mostly to walk to car. Or if fish hooked bad I turn away from pond and use it. Then takes few min for eyes to readjust. Useless for pics. Like the moonlight on water. But I'm on land.

Vacation up at Pleasant lake every August. Driven by this place many times...will have to drop my yak in give it a try. Ever fish Highland? or Pleasant for SMB?
@MrTightLines11 ай бұрын
I've fished Highland (the one right next to Webster) and that place had my PB Smallie for a little while. Are you asking about Pleasant in Deerfield or? Which Pleasant? Definitely hit Webster sometime. It's just really fun to fish, especially a week day when it's not busy. Weekends can be pretty intense! Thanks for watching and commenting on the video. I appreciate that!

Hey! New(ish) to fishing and I live in NH. Any advice on what baits to throw and best times of year to fish?
@MrTightLines Жыл бұрын
Which bait and which time of year is SUPER subjective. If you narrow down the time of year I could help further. Can't go wrong with a weighted wacky rigged rubber worm though! Thanks for watching and commenting.

Great to see how the fish ignore one lure, then smack another. What time of year was this?
