Matt, as an every day fisherman, I don't watch many fishermen on KZbin, because I can catch plenty of my own fish, and I don't care for all the click bait titles, 💩 music, and annoying personalities. But I watch your videos because you do it the right way. No lousy click bait titles, no screaming like a girl over a 9 inch bass, and you don't drown out the natural ambience with dumb music. Your channel is a cut above the rest, and I hope it stays this way. Thank you for the great content!
@FonicsSuck3 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Matt's videos capture the natural ambience that I love so much about fishing. The birds chirping, the movement of the water, the sounds of fishing... it's a great stand in when I can't be out myself. It's as it should be.

It’s Father’s Day today and my dad passed away when I was 10, about 15 years ago now. His favorite hobby ever was fishing. Went fishing in memory of him, caught 0 fish but found a Native American spearhead in the creek. It’s even more cool because him and I are Native American ❤. Caught 0 fish had more than enough fun just being out in nature. I appreciate your videos they’re awesome

I lost my dad 8yrs ago and he too absolutely loved fishing. The one responsible for my love of fishing now. Went fishing on Father’s Day 6/16/24 with my wife and same didn’t catch anything it even a bite. Yesterday 6/26/24 was the 8 year anniversary of his death and I went fishing and Jesus blessed me to catch 3 bass. Dedicated the first one to my dad.

Having fished multiple s in different sizes and colors, kzbin.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 this is by far my favorite. One thing to be aware of is the sided willow blade. One side is silver and the other is the green/orange shown. This is not bad, just unconventional. In terms of fishing, I have found the lure works just fine without a tail like a craw or shad. That addition is up to you. Also, the hook part where you attach the swivel snap or tie the line is a problem on baits these days, since it's able to slide up and down. However this lure seems to be tight enough that that doesn't happen often, and you can solve it by putting a thin slice of medical tube over the hook before attaching the line. Like others have said, it's really magic on a good windy day.

I wanted to stop and say thank you. Thank you for inspiring me to get back to what's important in my own videos. It's about the fish, it's always been about the fish, the adventure and the ambiance. Unfortunately, it's easy to get caught up in wanting to conform to the other (more popular) channels by getting crazy with the editing, effects, music and nonsense. I subbed to you because you remind me of why I even started fishing to begin with, the escapism. To go fishing is to leave your personal reality behind for a brief time and enter into another realm. The bass never cared I was a poor kid, an awkward teen or a misguided young adult. We just had an understanding, I agreed to present the bait to the best of my ability and in return, they agreed to bite it, so simple, so perfect. The purity of it all is what has kept me involved for the past 49 years and arguably the only reason I'm still alive. I sincerely hope you reach well over a million subscribers, you truly deserve it. Tight lines to you sir and thank you for 'getting it'.

Fishing literally saved my life. I live in a big city and made some poor choices early in my life. I remember the day it all changed like it was yesterday. Sitting by the river, hearing the birds chirp, seeing the wildlife, and the feeling of accomplishment of figuring out the pattern for the day. Even if it is just to take a picture and release them. I thank God everyday.
