Those are some nice penny loafers right there! Those ones you have right there would look great with chinos and an oxford button up shirt! And also a flannel shirt tucked into jeans! I've got a shiny pair of Cordovan Bass Weejuns that I wear to church on Sundays during the warm months. And I love them!

For wear in rain or snow, buy some tingley rubbers (I own 3 pairs of them myself) that you can remove when inside. They are by far the coolest things I own!

Has anyone had issues with the leather separating from other parts of the toe box. Not the sole just the toe box is that normal?

Just ordered myself a pair on sale. They were 62€ including shipping, which seemed like a steal. Sadly no black ones I liked to look of were on sale so I had to go with wine red ones. Luckily it's a somewhat easy colour to pair with as I mostly wear black. (sometimes I add a accent colour to my outfits like dark navy or even rose gold, but I almost always just end up wearing all black and carry around my brick wall red Millican bag as my only source of colour)

Loved the video, very informative. Is there much quality difference in the Weejun vs the Easy Weejun or is it just the sole that's a different material?

Thanks Oli! The leather is possibly slightly better, although the Easy Weejun is still a good quality shoe. I have a couple of pairs of those and they’re great for day to day and the souls won’t get ruined in the rain like the leather ones! I’ve had one pair for well over a year now and are the show I wear most, still in fantastic condition, so worth the money.

Size 6 1/2 is the starting point in the men's size range, but Bass Weejun penny loafers come in a range of sizes and widths to fit nearly everyone. I measure 9 1/2 A and usually slide my narrow feet into a pair of 9 B's. I've owned several pairs since my teens. My first Weejuns were the cordovan beef-roll style, size 8 1/2 C, New shoe leather is normally stiff, but should not create foot problems like corns, blisters or hammertoes. Shoe leather softens and stretches within a short time and Bass Weejuns conform to the shape of your feet very well. The trend for going sockless is not wise, from a health and hygiene perspective.
