2020 BASS Open Tournament // Lake Hartwell Bass Fishing (Topwater BLOWUPS!!)

It has been a long time since we got to fish a bass tournament with Bassmaster. After a long wait I am super excited to get to Lake Hartwell and experience the Lake Hartwell bass fishing.
The Bassmaster Opens are the road to the Classic and the road to the Elite Series. Winning an Open puts you in the Classic and if you finish in the top 4 in points, you qualify for the Elites!

Hartwell is by far the toughest lake out there!!! U can go all day and not get one bite!!!

Biggest thing I learned at Hartwell, especially if you are fishing for Spots, is you should get bit within 10 of fishing a particular spot. What I mean is if the fish are there I really believe you will get bit within 10 minutes. So don’t fish places too long. If you don’t get bit in 10 minutes, go to the next spot and eventually you will run into them

Hey Roger, the spook style bait I was using was a Evergreen JT in blueback herring color...size 115. The other lure I was using was a Sebile Magic Swimmer...95 size!
