As a bank angler, the best lure I have used in pressured small ponds is the megabass 3-6 ft. Model sexy shad color jerkbait. Out of the box caught 3 nice fish for me. They love to hit on the long pause!

Being from Ohio as well, I couldn't agree more about the pressure all the time and all over the place it's getting insane... but what helps me out sometimes is colors, the most bright, loud and obnoxious colors get me some extra bites when things are getting out of hand

@@BassFishingHQ I've been a fan for over a year but never hit the sub, but noticing all the changes and ways you're working on it I've now hit that sub button. I always came thru and watched because your videos are always suggested. I appreciate people going above and beyond and when their actions show how much they not only love what they are doing but want to help others love it as well. You have been improving vastly and it really is a testimony to the hard work you've put in. Proud of you man! Happy to see the continued growth! Also not using click bait and figuring out different thumbnails has really helped you stand out from the crowd!! At least for me. Helps me enjoy the content that much more and appreciate it

Being a bank fisherman from Northeast Ohio it's very difficult. Half the battle is finding a place to fish. Been fishing for over 25 years and it gets worse every year I'm about ready to hang it up.

Yeah I’m just starting and it’s so hard I got like 4 places, all 30 minutes away, only 2 are easily accessible and there all extremely pressured

Great to hear you talk about the “Deep Dive App”! That app conceived and designed by Jonny Schultz is no joke and will definitely add up to more catches. Great video, really like the “keep going” tip. All of us have hit that spot where we say time to turn around. Love your channel.

For our fishing opener last week I was throwing a huge 7" paddle tail on grass flats looking for some pike action and caught mostly smaller sized bass. Every single one I pulled in I was amazed they were hitting it because of how big it was compared to them. There is so much to say about showing fish something they don't see often.

I’m from Indiana and our bodies of water are tough as well. Something that has given me a lot of success in the past. Our fishing banks when the fish are shallow that look like they have nothing on them and they may not. They may just be flat Claybanks but for whatever reason you can go down these areas. When bass or shallow with Neko, Ned, or shaky head and catch bass others aren’t. Sometimes the Baron banks that look like they have nothing on them are some of the best. I guess this could also be an example of doing the extreme opposite. Because most people are going to be fishing banks that look very fishy. And do an extreme opposite of that is fishing areas that look like they have no fish whatsoever
@BassFishingHQ2 жыл бұрын
That is one I have used as well. You are absolutely right. Sometimes the banks that look like crap don’t attract fisherman…but that doesn’t mean fish don’t live on them
