I Found a Sewer FILLED with RARE AQUARIUM FISH!

In today's video, I find a new sewer that is LOADED with mysterious aquarium fish! These sewers connect to a tiny creek that has tons of rare fish! So we netted around to see what all we could find and ended up catching tons of fish, including many unknown species! We caught so many exotic fish like clown knife fish, plecos, rope fish, cichlids, catfish, AND MORE! We decided to place 2 fish traps and leave them overnight to see what we can get! When we checked the traps we caught SO MANY insane fish like a breeding pair of kribensis, geophagus, and 2 RARE red pike cichlids! We brought back all of the fish to put into my backyard ponds and fish tanks! Should we go back and do a part 2 at this spot?

They make a metal hook to remove manhole covers. That same hook is used to pull the storm water grills safely without losing a finger or a toe. Please get one and stay safe. I love your content!!

Those are not sewers. They are storm drains. Sewers do not drain to fresh water but go to treatment plants.

That pleco was definitely an expensive one, it also had a broken pectoral fin. Mesonauta insignis. Kribensis are very aggressive, they don't do well in smaller aquariums, they will terrorize their smaller tankmates.

Hello first time commenting the fishes you caught should be as follows. flag cichlid (mesonauta festivus) L330 watermelon pleco geophagus balzani female marbled headstander kribensis might be 2 females(pink belly) the long tail one maybe a type of barb.

The "Weird Catfish" is probably a 'Melon Plec' (Panaque species) by the looks of it. You also caught a Leporinus (Headstander - the stripy boi). Completely bonkers to think the stuff I see in Pier Aquatics in the NW UK is actually living wild in Florida as dumped pets. Surreal stuff.

The first cichlid is a Festivum. First pleco is a sailfin, the second one is a royal. The Wet Spot has some Atabapos for $100 at the moment, that was a nice haul 💪

The striped cichlid is a Mesonauta Sp. porbably Festive Cichilds and the other stripe fish is a Head stander also the kribensis you caught are a pair so they will probably reproduce. the weird pleco is an Emperor Panaque. in the steel trap the pikes you caught are red African pikes keep them together as they are a pair and might breed they are also know as Atabapo Pike Cichilds. Hope the identifications helped! Also for the african pikes keep them in a different aquarium if you want them to breed.

Just read your intro about part 2. Yes go back please. I'm trying to catch something like those Pikes for my greenhouse aquariums as I can only have a 30gl in my RV. I used to have 2 20gl longs , 2 30gl and a 10gl. I spread them out so it wasn't too much weight in one spot. I put the 20gl longs and 1 30gl in the greenhouse with the 55gl and 100gl acrylic. I can only have native fish to Central Fla because to the winter temps. Those Pikes would be ideal in the greenhouse 100gl. I now have cast nets , fish traps of all kinds and even got a fishing pole. LOL So wish me luck guys

Bobby, yes, please for a Part 2. But I think maybe they were having a joke about those big locked sewers. How could anyone check out what is down there unless they were official people with the keys? A fantastic catch, though, and I should think the Kribensis will breed. You have a nice looking pair there and the female gets prettier when she is ready to lay eggs.

Rainbow kribensis are my favorite! Dwarf cichlids from Nigeria and Cameroon. Red atapajos (ah-tah-bah-poe) Pike cichlid from South America.

Hi Bobby, it's a Festivum...... Woah, sensational video!!!! Fabulous finds. Best spot in ages if not ever!!!!! Not sure you should have released that first big Plec. That was interesting. Maybe just a well-coloured Pterygoplichthys pardalis. Still think try to catch it again!!!!! I Think the second one is Panaque nigrolineatus laurafabianae. I'm no expert but I think that's close.
