I don't see why all the hate over this, he's on a super high positive energy lately especially after electric forest this year. He's an amazing person who just wants to spread happiness and positivity to everyone. There's no need for the hatred or negativity saying his musical creations are the same. This is Bassnectar, Lorin Ashton, respect this man who has given so much back to people and has actually helped the community and also has an amazing support of fans who actually care about others and their well being. Please don't comment hateful comments. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all. Pretty sure our mothers taught us that.

Beg0tt3n: That's literally not at all what it means, you are deluded by ignorance. Drug use is perfectly fine and normal, coffee, sugar, nicotine, alcohol, cannabis, prescriptions left and right. So many are abused daily and overlooked because they are legal. A little research into the War on Drugs will show that the drugs that are illegal are illegal for two reasons: power & money. They open doors if done for the right reasons and in moderation. Don't make broad generalizations, especially about something you clearly know nothing about.

So back in the day between Santa Cruz and San Francisco. Bassnectar also known then as Dj Lorin , rekindled my fire for underground edm . Been there done that my attitude, scene was tired. Then a guy who to made ends meet by putting on a Barney purple dinosaur costume . Entertained kids at bday parties. Invited us to my Shasta forest party omg u just had to of been there . Could not really describe some of the parties I've shared experience with this man . There from first live set it was always known that the dude had a straight presence when his set was up you knew it was him even If could not see or no break in the beats . Energy level skyrocketed and blood would boil. Way to go Lorin proud to of been apart of all those beautiful days.
Christy Marquez, listen to this one 3 times in a row, did it on accident and it broke me, wasn't even listening, just walking around complaining that it kept playing the same song. Guess for a reason. Lol kzbin.info/www/bejne/n4DFlIawjrGEh9k
This dude is so real. This music comes from his love for the people who want to listen and for himself. He hasn’t sold out. He doesn’t condone drug use nor is he a user. He really cares about his performances and for the audience. That’s hard to find these days...

I know it doesn’t mean shit on this comment thread, but... this song means a lot to me. Many years ago I had to make the choice to be with the one I love or choose a different much easier path. I chose to be with her.. the path I chose resulted in me and her having to live in the wilderness for 5 months. I had bought a truck prior to these events, we lived in many different places in a tent around the Blount county Alabama area. We stayed at beautiful places including Blount springs, a very popular place back in the early 1900s, it’s nothing now, but we discovered a lot on our adventures into forgotten places. We stayed at a place called “swann bridge” there is an off-road path by the river that is beautiful, we stayed at many different places during this time. During this time I would play music very loud in my truck and this was one of the songs I played on a daily basis. We had been through so much and I was working hard at the time. Every day after work while she was staying in the tent I would bring dinner and then we’d enjoy the rest of our days in nature while this and many other songs played in the background. It’s hard to explain the feeling I had while living in nature but yet having a soundtrack like this playing in the distance while walking through the creek was amazing. My truck battery is still going til this day!! I don’t know if it will last another year or two but it will hurt when I have to change it, because a lot of bass nectar songs kept us going in our hardest times. Long story short I, I saved a ton of money by living in the woods, the beautiful sound of cicadas and crickets in the night will never leave my mind, though the air mattress was uncomfortable and kept me up some nights, I was still able to go to work and buy our dream home!! “The bad ending” even though I slaved away at work to get us a paradise of our own, she started using heroin and fentanyl, when I found out, it destroyed me! Then one day at work she got a bunch of her drug buddies to come and steal literally everything, from the hot water heater to the shelves on the walls, Two motorcycles and my car, it was ALL stolen and there was nothing I could do according to the police because she had gotten her mail at my home and I would have to hire a lawyer and sue her for all my stuff that was already sold for dope I’m sure. Some people have a history with certain songs. This one brings back a pain that I cannot explain. It’s a beautiful song, yet it rips my heart apart at the same time. Thank you Bass nectar... for a song that was part of the best times in my life. Me and her are done now, but at least I can say I did my very best to get us into the house of our dreams. Even if I move on in life, I’ll never forget the hardships yet the most beautiful meaningful time in my life!!

Brain feels, tingles in your head. I think it has something to do with having a relation between having a thought that is associated with emotion to what’s being thought of or observed. All thoughts have emotion, I think there’s a certain emotion that creates our brains to respond having a sensation on either the right side of the brain, left side of the brain, or full brain, or full body. An example of what I’m talking about is this. When I listen to music I listen and hears what’s being said than use will power to dive deep into finding a relation in the rhythm and how I imagine the emotion behind the rhythm and in relation to my emotions, my brain responds with sensation, as I perceive to be as one with me, with the music, as a connection, validated with sensation “tingles” . Connection and wanting to feel connected. I think the connection is great. The connection I’m explaining is the importance I hold for what is put out into the universe and finding intentions from the universe and what’s in it. Than accepting as what’s it sent out to be. In a song named “part of it” by brevis, there’s a cover photo with a large statue of a human sitting in a trance state with a halo. The music it self has a lady singing with so much emotion behind her voice. The rhythm her voice and sounds bring forth vibrations or sensations as a response from our brains feeling what’s being sent out to all of us. Yee. Love is an understanding. While listening to music and trying to understand the emotions in the music, and once that’s achieved creates the sensation we all experience when connecting our emotions with love. Intention , belief , imagination effects an outcome to feeling.

Man... It's wild when dope music transcends into something more. Opens you up so intensely that for a brief moment, u can feel the connection of your "soul" to the universe.
