Not only has Dirk been succeeded, but he has certainly been succeeded by a superior drummer... That's pretty hard to imagine since Dirk is a beast on the drums, but man is this guy awesome... He does all these songs so effortlessly.

Dirk really is a killer, but as a drummer myself (definitely not on your level, but not too far to catch up), I can objectively recognize talent. I'm a Soilwork fanboy to the max, and was not happy to hear of Dirk's departure, but no better shoes could've filled the spot as far as I'm concerned. :)

That's very kind of you to say. I appreciate your feedback. To be honest I was sad too that Dirk left, cause I've been, and still is a big fan of the band. It's one of the few bands that I kept listening to throughout the years. None the less Dirks departure gave me a chance and I'm very happy to be around for all these great experiences with my favourite band. Can't wait to get new music out and to go on tour again.

Thank you Sir! The snare is a Mapex Black Panther "Sledgehammer" 14" by 6,5". The head is a Evans Hybrid (in this video). I use Evans Genera Dry at the moment and that sounds really good. Cheers!
