One of my favorite songs from The Haunted Man. So glad this is getting a video. Natasha Khan's Pearl reminds me of Annie Lennox's alter-ego from the Savage era - the blonde vamp she portrayed in I Need A Man, You Have Placed A Chill In My Heart and other videos. Music is storytelling and being able to play different roles and give a different persona to a song is part of being an artist. Glad Khan is unafraid to explore this.

I still can't get over how good this version of the song is! So amazing. I wanna know if it was a version she recorded, but scrapped in favor of the album cut, or how exactly it came about! This is probably the single. Often times they will re-produce the single track for radio play and the video. Perfect example is Dammit by Blink 182. The radio version has a snare drum in the intro, album doesn't.
