Lagu batak / lagu tradisional batak, tidak ada yang mudah... karena membutuhkan teknik diatas rata2x dan jika ada penyanyi yang bisa menyanyikan lagu batak dengan sangat baik, sudah otomatis mereka akan jadi salah satu penyanyi terbaik dengan kualitas sangat tinggi. Kita suku batak memang suka lagu yang "nge-gass" yang "nembak", mungkin karena suku kita (batak) lahir di gunung jadi sudah terbiasa bersuara lantang / keras hahaha. Jadi bagi kami suku batak dalam hal bernyanyi, bermusik... mungkin bisa dibilang karunia dan juga curse tapi curse yang memberikan kebahagiaan untuk menghibur masyarakat.

Hii Nephi... the secret that Bataknesse /North Sumatra have great voice because they love sing. They born to be singer.. almost from north sumatra especially Toba land, is Christian. So they usually sing in church from their childhood. And in normally life, they love to sing in their home, with family, friends.. This case same with another Indonesia region especially in East Indonesia. There are many great talented singer too from East Indonesia, like timor, manado, flores, papua, ambon.. they have different kind of voices compare with Nort Sumatra. But they voice are great too. More soft, gentle, high and soulfull. You should react for their singer too. Like glenn fredly, mike mohede, etc...

Well, Nephi, there are some similarities between Bataks (aboriginal of North Sumatera) with Filipino. When you hear the Bataks speak their language, it sounds like Tagalog dialect 😁 And we have so many words are sound the same with Tagalog, for example (sorry if its sound rude) putang ina - bujang ina 🤭 Back in 1500's (based on the Fernand Mendez Pinto's book), there are people of Luzon that come to Sumatera, helping The King of Bataks to fight with Aceh Kingdom. I bet mostly of them were not going back home to Luzon, but stay and mix married with the aboriginal Bataks 👌 Thats why we have some similarities.

Lea simanjutak has been interviewed before, she said 8 of 10 bataknese she met can sing well, even maybe they can read the note. We just can sing. Because it's part of our culture. We love to sing. We love to meet our relatives then come on we sing and it happens. And theres term "pecah batak" or we can call it batak harmony. Means without any reguler practices. We met and sing and wilk knew who will take voice 1 or 2 and 3. Lol
