One of the Reasons the Actors went on Strike last year. WB didn't tell Christopher Reeves Family of what's happening and Nicolas Cage wasn't even involve at all. Also no Grant Gustin? You had Ezra Miller made a Cameo on his show part of Crisis on Infinite Earths and they chose this movie over the Batgirl Movie?
@GiovanniAlckmimRusso8 ай бұрын
Nicolas Cage was involved, but rather than only use just his scene, which was the scene of him standing while the camera moves away from him after alternate Barry dies, they decided to extend the scene. Regarding Grant Gustin, the director said he wanted to have not only him, but also Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman, Marlon Brando as Jor-El (who can be briefly seen in Reeve's sphere) and I don't remember if had mentioned another one, but he cut those because in his words it would've made the scene longer. Regarding Reeve's children, they say they haven't watched the movie, not that WB spoke to them. Don't forget they also closed a deal with WB regarding the Reeve's documentary.

so who is Michael Keaton’s Superman Nicolas Cage or as the common books confirmed Christopher Reeve

With a multiverse... both.

Power Rangers CGI quality.

Still awful using CGI Dead Actors like this, completely shameful. I felt a tinge of happiness seeing Reeve again and it’s fun that Nic Cage actually got to do a little something as Superman, but overall completely awful. Like 2/5 movie if I’m being generous.

No one said using Reeves was a good idea. Everything about it is wrong

@@JoeChillton I mean, the concept of using dead actors isn't a bad idea in of itself, but if it's done purely for spectacle and not with care and respect, then yeah, people are gonna be upset. For example, they used CGI and special effects to recreate Harold Ramis in Ghostbusters: Afterlife, but nobody had any issues with it because not only did Sony have permission from his family for his likeness, but his presence was treated as loving tribute / send-off.

@@doseoflzrno. It's a fucking dumpsterfire. There are many films to this day that are still trash even 20-30 years later. Time doesn't always change the quality of the film, sometimes a film will forever be bad. This being one of them

I really loved seeing these cameos, but the annoying and disappointing part about this was the cgi was bad, and primarily, that grant gustin didnt show up in here.

People are talking about just CGI. Yes, I know it's not good. I am sure there must be a solid reason for this, could be budget issue or something. But apart from CGI I love the movie, This is not that bad people! Love the chemistry of Barry with his mom.

The Flash movie was nothing like The Falshpoint Paradox story. The only good thing about that movie was Michael Keaton coming back as Batman.

Good CGI for a videogame, NOT for an highbudget movie.

Worse part is, no showing the Henry Cavill / Zack Snyder Superman. WB and DC executives need to pack and leave.

That really was the plot for the Nicholas Cage Superman movie fighting giant spiders
@victoreguerra6 ай бұрын
Not really, they combined two scrapped Superman projects. The giant spider one was Kevin Smith's Superman Lives, and after WB scrapped that one they started working with Tim Burton and Nicholas Cage in another iteration that was also later canceled.

Nicolas Cage Superman should've been part of the plot. Otherwise, what's the point? Only film nerds and superhero fans understood the reference. The general audiences don't. Add that the CGI looks like 2007 Beowulf.

Cage looks terrible as Superman. Yes I know he auditioned for it, he still looks terrible

I know this movie got destroyed in terms of in not being what Zack Snyder originally intended and all the reshoots, but the idea that there are multiple versions of us intrigues me.
