I love that green for the cloaks, it's sobright and vibrant, but still has some depth to it. I discovered a similar color with citadel's regal blue, it's super deep and kinda dark, but layering lighter and lighter blue makes everything pop. A tip for yellows: first apply another colour, this colour determines the 'warmth' or mood of the yellow. White for 'cold', pale grey for 'dirty' Flesh tones or beige for 'warm', red/orange for 'Firey', pale green for 'sickly'. Hope this helps you all get a nice smooth yellow with the right tone. Also - decal printing for the bases.. Oh the joys of modern tech. When I painted necromunda gangers in the 90's that just wasnt an option. Initially I painted the letters on (yes it was hard). Eventually I found a pen that worked ok for name plates. I stil have all my original models - many of them have joined the ranks of the guard now with a touch up paint job or a full repaint.

So fluffy! Yeah, this was my first time doing nameplates, they didn't come out perfect, but it's really useful for a game like Necromunda where each character has different weapons and stats!

I’ve had a lot of success using metallic paints as more of a dry brushing step than a painting step. Undercoating in a deeper brown (I use Rhinox Hide from Citadel) and then any metallic paint you want will go on in one or two coats with a brush with very little paint without adding any texture. I’m using citadel paints (this is how I always work with Lead Belcher), but I’d assume it’d work with other lines.
