BATE Lithium 12.8V 100Ah LiFePO4

Taking a look a 12.8V 100ah battery from Bate lithium. Teardown an capasity test. Any comments on this battery review is greatly appreciated.

Teardown of the battery is something I do to let you have a look inside(so you don't have to). By doing so I woid any warranty. Don't do this at home if you have a problem with your battery. Contact costumer support instead!

Should have used compressed air or something for testing the low temp disconnect.. Let's just see how the battery works in real life at the cabin.

This was NOT a "Full Teardown" test to be correct, to be a FULL needed to remove the battery from the case and look at the pouch cells for info. But thanks for the video.. Also very few 12v 100ah LiFePO4 have Low Temp cutoff!

Thanks. Don’t think I said this was going to be a full teardown🤔 because of the way the pack was stuck in the box. There was no way for me to take the pack out without destroying the box. I tested for low temp because this company claimes they have it in their batteries. I think I said that in the video😊

I saw him open the box and show what was inside to the best of his abilities .. It does not.They should really quality check their labeling… Glad I opened it up to see the BMS.. thank you for the input👍

@@frikadellenkind pouch cells are thinner and lighter, but more fragile. For a stationary system they will work great. Prismatic cells are more durable and would be my choice for things like RV,campervans and boats. It all depends on the quality of the batterybuild in my opinion.

@@frikadellenkind I really don't think you will have any problems using it in a campervan. The overall build quality of the battery is ok. Insulation foam secures the batterypack well. So for the price, you get a decent battery that works as far as I can tell. I say go for it if you are on a budget.
