To all you keyboard warriors that do not do a damn thing but complain, please educate yourselves on construction and carpentry. The grout lines are because Alex used a non rectified tile. It is meant to look like that and looks awesome when seeing up close and first hand and not through an angled camera lens. Do Alex a favor and look up rectified vs non rectified tile before you want to tell someone else there work is crap when you most likely haven't done any construction, carpentry or probably don't even know how to turn a tool on but want to rip their skills apart. Alex keep at my man. I may not like some things you do only cause it's not my style you choose, but I will keep watching and subscribing because you are at least doing and getting better with each opportunity.

Use mapei grout refresh on that splash. That way you can change the color to warm grey or something to match better. And grout will be sealed. Grout lines are consistent, but that type of tile should not have a contrasting grout for obvious reasons. Love your channel. it always keeps me motivated. 🤟

That's pretty cool! Hope the cabin build is going OK. I really like watching you figure things out as you go. It make me want to not be afraid to try something. All I want to do is tie in an electrical plug to go under my kitchen sink. One controlled by a switch for the disposal and one regular to plug in the dishwasher. I was watching carefully what you did there. Thanks. It's definitely doable, but I probably won't do it....yet🤔

It’s definitively pretty, sir. Yeah, but there may be a thing of two you have not thought of. Even though LED panels are very nice to look at, they cannot last forever. Most manufacturers have that very bad politics to set up “planned obsolescence”, a policy planning or designing a product with an artificially limited useful life. (Poor component qualities as example) Maybe you should have thought of a drawer panel under the LED to easily remove and change them when they arrive at the end of their live. Also, you have no ventilation, so the heat may accelerate the lifespans of them. An alternative t accomplish the same goal is the use of fibre optic with an external light source, easier to replace if needed. Still, it’s a very nice build!
@anthonydukamp4303 күн бұрын
I definitely think the whole thing needs to be covered in LED's for this to work. Looks a bit weird with it just lit up in the middle

I think the difference in price with the sockets is mostly due to two things: 1. if it has QC 3.0 compatibility all the electronics inside are costly. Good quality QC charger is like 20 bucks or smth. If not, then all the AC/DC converters would add up idk maybe 5 to 10 bucks, 2. Demand, supply, markup all that nonsense probably adds up too. Regular outlets are just a different connector for the wire, so I guess that's where the price difference occurs.

Not my taste, so I don't really like it at all. I liked it the way it was before. I like the big mirror that he took down - you lose so much utility with the smaller mirror and they make the room look much smaller. The tile and mortar is hideous - not at all eye pleasing. There is no way a little kid can see himself in those mirrors. The LED counters look weird because the lighting is so blotchy and the LED's will likely fail in time making is look more hideous. Why the big fake shrub arrangement on the counter? Not good in a bathroom - big dust collector - just looks out of place.
