Also not sure if you noticed but Two-Face is in this film before he became Two-Face, played by Billy Dee Williams. Billy Dee was actually going to reprise his role in Batman Returns and showed him turning into Two-Face but it was cut for some reason, and was later replaced by Tommy Lee Jones in Batman Forever. Billy Dee finally got his chance at playing Two-Face after all the years in the movie "The Lego Batman Movie" where he voiced Two-Face. Not exactly sure why they replaced Billy Dee for the definitely worse Tommy Lee, but I'm glad Billy Dee finally had the chance to finally play Two-Face even if it was in Lego form

Yes! The Batmobile in the Tim Burton's version has always been the coolest and best looking. I gringed at the Christopher Nolan version, found the 60's version to be cute and suitable for the campy style, but this one. This one, is a work of art. It is so badass no sports car in the history of automobiles has ever been even close to the awesomenness of this version.

Best batman movie ever!! Yes the cowl is impractical since he cant turn his head....but it looks badass!! plus the first christian bale batsuit was the same. He asked morgan freeman for a new suit so he could turn his head in the dark knight haha. I hope his unable to turn his head is mentioned in the flash haha

I have the 89 batmobile toy from my uncle from when this came out. I actually think I had the batwing too and have both "original" 89 action figures of joker and batman and the batmobile hot wheels car from the 60s with Adam west action figure. "Mask of the Phantasm" will probably be my favorite Batman movie if I had to pick one.

I love this movie so much!!!!! Jack Nicholson's Joker is my favorite Joker of all time(Not counting Mark Hamill). I still crack up at that scene in the clock tower, where that henchman tries to jump on Batman and misses and just falls to his assumed death. I also really liked how they tied into Joker being the 1 to kill Batman's parents, and I think the whole toxic waste scene as well as the clock tower scene are 2 of the best sequences in a Batman film. Also Batman totally killed Joker twice. I need to rewatch the scene where Joker becomes Joker, but pretty sure Batman caused, and you can definitely make a strong case that it's Batman's fault that Joker died at the end(Unless he somehow survived like everyone says apparently, idk). This was my favorite Batman film until "The Batman" released last year. I still hold a very soft spot for this film and I'll always go down loving this film. Great reaction btw

Growing up with the Dark Knight movies and seeing this film afterwards was serious whiplash for me in my early teens. There are things I do appreciate about this film like the music and set design, but it doesn't do a whole lot for me aside from that. It's still a very important milestone that absolutely can't be overlooked for how impactful it was, but I do feel that the Nolan films and the latest Batman film are better in most aspects.

Very simply because he has a thick neck in the comics like a Panther, they wanted to be authentic. You have a comment for EVERY scene ,tie your Kangaroo down sport. having seen this...Art house version of BAT MAN recently after many years, Ive come away with a different opinion of it. especially about Nicolson's Joker performance, he is often over the top in a similar way to Jim Carrey. as Riddler in the 3rd film, (who is ALWAYS over acting every time you see him, & trying to be funny) but the production design is superb a visual treat, Tim Burton seemed to approach it as a vintage horror film. I understand better now why they cast Michael Keaton, as Wayne/Bat Man. Also what I hadnt noticed was how much Chris Nolan stole from this version, despite making a more real world version of the character, but he wisely knew what to take, & what not to from it
