@@architeuthis3476 Because of its pure madness and deranged nature. It's a perfect distillation of one of my favourite eras of science fiction, the 90's. Weird nonsensical conspiracies, a bafflingly wrong understanding of computers and how the internet works. I live for that, I just love how absurd this is and I desperately need them to see the sequel to this because it's even more bizarre. Also Bruce Lee fights Batman is one of the stupidest things ever put to page and I adore it for that.

This is easily one of the most hilarious and bat-shit insane plots I've listened to on this channel. And the shame of it is that every ten minutes, Sal and Company would come up with a much better plot off the cuff. The idea of Batman being abducted by aliens isn't bad by itself---the first third of this was admittedly pretty interesting. It's just that this should've been the beginning of a much grander plot; one that should've involved the Justice League. But instead, we're given a random X-Files episode, but with Batman. But even the more comedic episodes of the X-Files were more dignified than this. The second Bruce Lee showed up, that's where I gave up.
