I don't mind if the Characters are Genderbend, Raceswap, or Aged Change as long as it doesn't affect the Character's Sexuality or Lore or does ruin the Lore especially Minor Characters, the Series was just Mid, not Bad but not Good, there’s some Good Ideas but it was Rushed and Executed Poorly, I respect for People who like it but to me it wasn’t Batman, it’s just a Forgettable Series I would watch Once and Never Again, My Adventures with Superman had Better Execution than this.l Series that I felt Bored.

I feel like this show either needed longer episodes to flesh out some of these concepts or at least more half hour episodes to better develop it. 10 episodes was not enough. Also, I hate how much of a dick Batman is to Alfred in this version

Personally, I thought it was amazing. But I haven't seen a lot of Batman stuff, I haven't even seen any of the movies. So maybe I'm just impressed by the novelty. But I also think the show had amazing writing and world-building. I also thought "Dark Harley Quinn" was amazingly subversive and genuinely terrifying. I do agree that Montoya could have used more character moments in the show. I have seen TAS, though. I don't think it's aged well, mostly, I think people just like it because of nostalgia.

I googled for "Caped Crusader is mid" to see if anyone else agreed, and found this. I don't agree with all your takes, but by and large we are on the same page. I heard about this show when Max announced it, and then when Max cancelled it. Amazon did just barely enough to promote it, which is in line with what feels like a lower budget for 10 episodes than what Fox paid for 65 episodes of BTAS. But I suspect that even if the show has stayed on Max, it would have been as bland.

Personally I also found a show relatively mid at this point I'm used to you shiting on people who don't like race swapping but I'm curious on to why none of the people like you who take your stance can't answer the question if the race doesn't matter then why change it in the first place if it doesn't matter to you either way then why do it, and why shame people who don't like it

Race swapping happens to address the reason that major comic book characters are predominantly white/male/straight in the first place: America is bigoted asf. People can and should create original diverse characters, but if you read comics you see that everyone besides the big 3 (i.e. Spiderman, Batman, Superman, and maybe Deadpool now idk) tends to do kinda poorly. I’m convinced that the next Invincible-tier comic book could be about a character from a minority background, but it’s clearly easier to get representation going when you just race swap. It’s also why we get characters like Sam Wilson, Kamala Khan, and Miles Morales rather than heroes with their own unique mantle.

@@Chudi2000 so what you're saying is people who claim to be comic book fans don't have faith in original well written and well thought out characters who just so happened to be black and they need the push from White characters to be relevant, even though static shock Luke Cage Black Lightning Mr terrific and other notable black characters already exist and are literally waiting for an adaptation it's much more fun and creative to just have a lazy race swaps I'm just never going to be getting down with this whole it's okay to have race swaps mentality I personally think Ray swaps is disrespectful to the black community and black comic book fans it basically teaches black people that are characters aren't good enough on their own

​@@Shady44575 3/4 characters you named have already had some sort of adaptation or show lmao and Mr Terrific was in Arrow and is gonna be in the upcoming Superman movie. Black Lightning has a show and Luke Cage as well. Race swaps CAN be cheap, but at the end of the day it's not a big deal to focus on as long as race(or their culture) isn't important to the character and if they still have a major part in the story. It's not like we're only getting race swaps, we have characters like Miles and BP who stand on their own in movies lol. Other than that minority characters on their own just don't tend to do well unless their being pushed through another popular team or mantle. It's the same reason why Cyborg was moved up to being a main member of the Justice League. They did that to boost his popularity and add diversity to the team. Same reason why Sam was given the Captain America mantle. To boost his popularity and put him into the spotlight. If you think this diminishes them at all as characters idk what to tell you, since you also seem to think Miles is a race swap even though he's a completely different character from Peter. To be fair to you though i think ACTUAL cheap race swaps can be disrespectful but this one is kind of a non-issue. He's a pretty good character in this show after all.
