One of the things I like about this scene is the honest effort the villains try to put in killing the Bat. Multiple guys try to mob him at once, one dude just runs up while Batman is distracted and shoots him in the head, another guy doesn't even play around and drops a grenade (he probably should have stuck with the gun, though).

One question I always had was why criminals were afraid of Batman if they knew he wouldn't kill them? I feel like the music accentuates how scary this version of Batman is, because he legitimately doesn't care if you live or die. He won't go out of his way to kill you, but he won't go out of it to save you either. If you go up against him, there's a chance he'll end up killing you. This is a Batman worth of being feared.

In the comics, most of batman's villains aren't actually afraid of him. The street level muggers and bank robbers are afraid to get beat to a pulp, but the major villains usually aren't. Joker treats it like a game, get beat up, go to Arkham, heal, kill a couple nurses, and break out to go antagonize Batman again. Other villains like Freiz and Rhas simply don't care about getting hurt

He stepped out of the project after his daughter committed suicide, so instead of WB just putting the film on pause to give Snyder some time to mourn, they got Joss Whedon to finish and reshoot 80% of the movie. That’s why Justice League was such a mess. The Snyder Cut that we’re getting next year will be a lot better.

Keaton was the foundation as he showed the world "how it's done" cause before him all of those other versions were cheesy and laughable. Kilmer and clooney were terrible,period. Ben affleck was ripped straight outta the comics and animated series. He was a bold and cold Bruce Wayne and even much *Bolder and terrifying Batman* .
