This is probably the best video deconstructing the "Batman versus X" discourse.

I feel this doesn’t capture the full context of the conversation- yes, one of the greatest things about Batman as a character is that he is deeply flawed, and SPECIFICALLY not infallible- a human man capable of failure, but in accepting that, you also accept the opposite. The idea that every time Batman beats Darkseid, or Superman, or Green Lantern, or Prometheus or someone like that- that that is being done by a normal human man who is capable of making mistakes, and that is testament to his ability to be tactical, and plan, and prepare, and execute. While it is true that Batman’s flaws are important to his character and characterization- so are his strengths. And I think people are just so baffled by the idea that a human being can do inhuman things in a form of fiction, that they only attribute his flaws to his character, and ignore everything else.

If there is a better fighter than BP in universe, Batman wins. Unless BP is the best martial artist in the world, or one of the top 5, Batman wins.

Yes that what makes batman great what makes him corny is the fact that he is over used and often gets better stories than everyone else

Thats why im kinda sick of him, he is overhyped way too much

He is “overused” because he is better written than your favorite DC character, cry harder. He gets better stories because he is better written as well. That’s how it works. Cry.
