I know the other Clayfaces are iconic for being full on clay people, but I feel that the Preston Payne Clayface is underrated. He's just so 'weird', but in a way that would make for a great horror comic. Also, RIP Alan Grant. We lost another giant.

One of my favourite versions of Clayface is from The Batman 2004 series whose name is Ethan Bennett and is an old friend of Bruce Wayne's and is an entirely original character for the show. Are you guys familiar with it? While not as good as the Animated Series, some characters like Catwoman, Hugo Strange, Batgirl and surprisingly Firefly are actually much better handled than in the animated series.

Okay Sal, I completely love your best way to get into comics tangents. That is exactly how I got into comics. This is the second time you brought it up recently. I think we need a full comic pop returns video or CBR article devoted to this topic. I actually sent the last one to my mom who taught for 20 years, has become a private tutor, and teaches English and writing. One of her elementary students loves graphic novels. So I made a clip of you talking about single issues sparking the imagination and sent it to her because it sounds like a great learning and writing activity for her student.
