First time reading your comment so not sure if you looked into the song that plays at that moment or not. That song came from a mech anime called Aldnoah Zero. The soundtrack is amazing, created by the same music producer of Attack on Titan, another very popular anime.

Ah, one of the handful of older battles that never goes unignored whenever it resurfaces in my recommendations. I remember I sought this episode out after watching Avengers Endgame, and the “playing human” and Iron Man taking “everything” lines managed to shine in a whole new light as a result. One of the GOATs to be sure.

These are lines taken from actual Iron Man comics, and it's a bit unfortunate that they've been stripped of their original context, because we missed out on Tony following the "being a god can't be too hard" line with "I mean, if *Thor* can do it..."

@@akatsukigajou1639 I wouldn't know about specific mobile suits since I never got into any mecha anime outside of Gurren Lagaan. I know just enough to know it's a mobile suit from the Gundam series, that most people outside that fandom call them Gundams instead of mobile suits (or whatever they're called in universe) and I wouldn't even be surprised if I was wrong about a lot of that.

Comics written or taking into consideration Lex's perspective are among the most interesting. Superman is just terrifying from a logical realistic perspective. Lex is a narcissistic man with a God-complex, but he's also the greatest advocate of human potential in a world where aliens, cosmic forces predating time and even gods themselves constantly threaten it. He beat the odds himself through sheer ability several times and their are beings like Superman who don't need to even be tested like that and could potentially do anything they want and use Earth as their personal boxing ring playground. He goes too far in his methods, but trusting that Superman has the best interests of everyone at heart inherently or that he won't fall (as several versions of him have done before) is a little short-sighted. Stories like Injustice that frame him more as a hero or Crisis on Two Earths are my favorites.

It is a massive event, comic or hawk returns to earth after being sent off in the space except he brings an entire war army with him and proceeds to beat no shades of shit out of all of the avengers the X-Men pretty much everyone that gets in his way. So that he may take revenge on the people that sent him up to space in the first place. Do you want to see Iron Man get his ass handed to him and Tony Stark been beaten into a puddle of jelly. Tony's backstory has been changed just a little, he is still Howard Stark's biological son, he's just an affair baby he had with a C.I.A. spy now. In the comics Jarvis was his butler and his A.I. was a female named Friday, they changed Jarvis to being an A.I. for the MCU so that he'd have one less similarity to Batman.
