Welcome to my very first "Batter Chatter"!! Steven came up with the name and it's absolutely perfect. I've been wanting to share easy desserts with y'all and you guys have asked for Q&A type videos, so what better way to get them both done than a Dessert and Coffee chat video?! I've recently been craving some apple pie and I found this recipe on Pinterest and I couldn't make it fast enough!! SO easy and SO tasty, y'all! I hope you'll give it a try and I hope you love the question and answer segment in today's video, too.

Elizabeth, I'm so sorry you're battling this awful disease again. I was diagnosed in June. It's truly no fun. Prayers are being lifted up for you . My daughter introduced me to a song by Drew Holcomb with Lone Bellow, "Dragons". It speaks of 'slaying all the dragons that stand in your way'. That's my prayer for you, and all of us who have dragons to slay.

I thoroughly enjoyed this video! (I love your "what's for dinner" videos also.) I can honestly say that your videos are by far my favorite! We have been married 40+ years (twice as long as you & Steven, oh my Lord!) and every one of your recipes we have tried; we have enjoyed, and I expect the mini apple pies are gonna be a hit also.
