Wow! You're having an incredible adventure traveling back to Seattle. I know you're a veteran of RV ownership, but for me as a new RV owner when things didn't work, it was pretty depressing. Luckily, I had friends who recommended finding a local RV maintenance shop I could trust, which I did that have provided answers and solutions to troubles I've had with my RV. My RV friends also told me, "Welcome to RV life, you're going to have problems, things are going to break... join the club and don't let it get you down." I like your ability to not let your RV troubles get you down. You're a TROOPER and a ROAD WARRIOR! Looking forward to your next video and your travel through the snow! David, Glad to see you have a new rig. Congrats! If it were me, I would change the house batteries out on any new used rv. And if the date on the engine battery is four years old, I would change it out too. I never go cheap or keep my batteries until they fail. They are too critical. That Autozone battery tester is not the most accurate testing device, like they have at the dealership. I wish you safe travels and great adventures with this rig my friend. Take Care

Each rig has their little nuances. The snow surprise was not great but you had a place to stop and heat was working so that's great. Our experience with a 2019 Travato K is this. The house battery was still working at 4.5 years old, but when tested with a proper battery tester that can add a load it was determined to bad. A new one is $180 at Costco. The house batteries, 2 AGM's were getting tired and when I removed them at 4 years one showed 20% usable and the other 40%. When showing fully charged on the control panel in the afternoon by morning if you turned on the Inverter and plugged in a 500 watt tea pot the inverter would beep and it could not supply power. I replaced those with 2 lithium battle born batteries and now we had loads of power. Still just a 1000w inverter at this point. For Microwave and AC we have the generator. With a 2000w inverter upgrade you could do microwave and other 1500 watt appliances like full size coffee maker or water boiler, hair dryers, air fryers, pretty much everything but the AC.

We forgot that we had a house battery shut off switch by the side door. Couldn't figure out why none of the 12 volt stuff was working until we realized that it has gotten flipped off. Recently our battery wasn't going to full charge. Turned out to be the converter died. Replaced that and all was well.

Cracker Barrel is great for the tired, weary or troubled travelers. They often have certain parking for RVs and busses. However busses are supposed to be limited to a few hours and RVs are dinner to breakfast (all night) or breakfast to lunch (approx 6 hours). This information came directly from Cracker Barrel headquarters. However, they are being abused here and other places. Zoning is hitting them like Walmart's. Due to abuse and trash😢 I know you would not do that. But, I personally watched youtubers do it this winter many times. Apparently it's quite common for snowbirds.😢

It sounds like you didn't get much of a rundown on your systems by the salesman to cut down on the operator errors. I would download the manuals for your rig from the Winnebago website and have a good read through. These class Bs are very different from the other classes. Also, one important thing to avoid leaks is to turn off your water system when it's not in use. There's a lot of rattling going on as you drive down the road and Winnebago quality is really put to the test.

Once your voltage drops below 12 volts, everything tends to go wonk. 11.9 volts is only 40% state of charge = no bueno. It's such a cruel joke IMHO that they put all these sophisticated systems in an RV and only provide one house battery! It could be that your battery is on it's way out -- could be that the switch which auto-charges your house battery isn't working. Once you get home, you can put a regular 10 amp charger on your house battery overnight (disconnect everything else) and get a "resting voltage" the next morning (no charge and no load for at least an hour). That resting voltage will tell you battery condition. If resting voltage on your house battery is 12.3 volts (for example), that's a 70% state of charge and 30% of that batteries ability to store power is gone forever.
