As someone who been airbrushing for 20 years, I bought one and love it, great to make a detailed sketch before laying out base colors, and detail afterwards, I hate being teethered for many years, I wish there was a more powerful one that can handle an airbush with a trigger
@jasonarce51693 жыл бұрын
I bought this kit for priming miniatures. So far I would say it's great for beginners and painting away from home. And it's super quiet. It's not the first choice for a professional, but can't see why a pro wouldn't want 1.

Although im considering this for miniature/model painting purposes seeing the brush in action like this, on a canvas. It definetily helped. This has been the most in depth review/display of its capabilities. So cheers for that.

If you own these, try not to use alcohol as much for the " cleaner ". After a day of use, & its time to clean it, hold down on the spray as you refill the cap with water ( 3+ full caps Of water aka 3 cycles ). This should help get the paint out, but will still have paint inside. When you run it through with alcohol, the alcohol dries out the leftover paint inside. Over time or even within a day, it'll clogged. Instead of using alcohol, I just spent the couple $ to buy " airbrush cleaner fluid ". ALSO, when you take it apart and clean it, for some reason if you try to spray and nothing comes out, try playing with the tip of the nozzle in the front where the paint dispenses. ( as you spray , loosen/tighten the front nozzle until you see it disperse paint ) Took me days of trying to figure this solution out & almost going on to buying my 2nd replacement until I figured it out. Hope this helps anyone with a cordless airbrush.

Can confirm. The backwash the water method is the best for cleaning these. I bought a second one after ruining the first and it's worked perfectly ever since with only water.

Thanks for this informative review. On the back of watching this I bought this model from Amazon UK (albeit under the brand name DIYARTS). The 'instructions' - which appear to be for exactly the same METU-30 model - state that you get 40 mins use (rather than the 1.5 hours in your instructions). Seems like they may have updated them. This is the first airbrush I've ever had so I've nothing to compare it with. What I will say though is that my fingers absolutely killed me after just 5 minutes of use. I'm sort of regretting not getting one with a separate compressor which I think may be easier to handle.

You could probably get a air hose to go in between the gun and battery pack. Imagine it would be like a hose off a foot pump. Could work. Am looking at getting one of these.

Is the battery pack and pump heavy to hold onto for longer periods of time? 600mah battery is not large but combined with casing and 6v motor adds weight. Heavier than an air lead. Noticed it might be more comfortable to hold steady ???

I wonder how it is for weight? Is it any heavier to hold than a hose connection. I noticed you were using both hands to hold it. Is that the way you would use a regular hose connected airbrush? Or was it heavy so you needed 2 hands? Not a critique, just trying to get as much info before buying. Thanks!

That’s cooooooooooool as crap!! I’ve looked at them over and over and wondered how good they performed ya know. It definitely be ideal for when people are transporting motorcycle tins or panels and when they get to their destination they notice a imperfection or if like you said forgot a highlight or just need to touch up things that may happen in transporting artwork. Also like you said bout havin different colors in a couple and you have a small piece of art or say at a show and pumpin out artwork quickly it’s ideal. I am definitely goin to get one of those!! And as far as Spraygunner goes, that’s who I use for ALL MY airbrush needs. Especially paints. I jus got a Createx Illustration Box A set that had like 16 colors, and a 4 bottle additive sampler kit(4012/4020 reducers, 4030 balance clear, and 4008 restorer) all for 70$!!!anyway thanks for the informative video again!!

Hello from Oklahoma Territory, USA. These are pretty cool to see in action. I’m curious what you are going to do with the airbrush itself (if anything) to make it perform better or are you just going to try it out straight away on some artwork? The needles on the No Name brushes are pretty rough outta the box and can use a bit of a polishing and putting the tip through a Sharpen Air needle tip shaper/restorer to even them up works quite nicely too. You can feel the grooves or fluting on the needle shafts on some of them. Again, Great video(s) as always. I’m still watching the Lucky 13 Skull video... keep the videos coming my friend and be safe.

Airbrush Asylum - Always a pleasure, I don’t really watch any other airbrush videos, because your ability to teach is awesome. Not that others on KZbin are bad, I just find your teaching and techniques easily understood by me, and now my wife who also started watching your videos. This particular product performed very well just breaking the seal, doing a load and go vid. The working air pressure seems perfect for your 70-30 reduction. The quantity of color you were able to put on without light spots or tiger stripes was amazing. I use spray gunner pretty much exclusively and have become friends with most of the folks there in Oldmar, Florida. Can’t wait to see what you have next for us... 🤘🏻👊🏻🙌🏻👍

Thanks buddy it’s pretty wicked ....I am yet to see how she performs creating some art but SprayGunner mentioned you can hook up other airbrushes ....so that means it could well be a great product for both beginners and pros 👍🏻

Just about all the airbrush reviews I see on KZbin are always done on paper I'd rather see them on glass or something that don't absorb the paint!!!!!!
